  1. I will donate $10-20 if someone could PLEASE update the main thread with really detailed step by step how to do it, and even a noob should be able to do it. I got to this point (YAY!) successfully and from here I don't know what to do: After OS X is finished installing it will prompt you to reboot your computer. In order to get into your newly installed OS X, you will need to make sure that you boot from your flash drive again. The retail installation does not have the necessary kexts or proper boot loader to allow you to boot straight into OS X. Using the F8 trick, boot to your flash drive but this time select your Snow Leopard installation. I recommend using the -v flag again in case there is an error or kernel panic. Knowing this information will help us troubleshoot if something goes wrong. The initial boot may take a bit longer than you'll normally see. Within a few minutes (it shouldn't take more than 5) you'll be welcomed with the introductory video. YAY! YAY but now what? Please help!
  2. The links to the kexts: P6T-SE.kext, FakeSMC.kext and the latest DSDT 3.4 for 9XX are dead. Can someone please update the main guide and add all of the necessary KEXTs and PLISTs all into one zip and upload it. Appreciate it & Thank you!
  3. Best antivirus is ... YOU +1 at what Detosx said in his reply.
  4. The NVIDIA 9500GT Thread

I just wanted to thank everyone at InsanelyMac for all of the information floating around. I managed to successfully integrate a XFX 9500 GT 512 with my current 10.6.4 OS X just using the GraphicsEnabler string. So I'm now able to use my monitor SyncMaster Samsung 23" at its native resolution 2048x1152, however, there is only one minor issue with this screen resolution, it seems that there is a slight (5-10%) vertical stretch (take close look at the font). Please see the attached photo for reference. Any ideas and suggestions? Please help! Thanks
  5. Hello, I finally managed to install the SL OS X with success after the third attempt. Many thanks go to dogbe and all of the other contributors who made this installation possible. I managed to install 10.6.3 without issues, however the Mac info shows DDR2 RAM (not sure if that it is a good sign). Thanks all!
  6. Dogbe, I have successfully performed the given instructions, however no changes. Same issue, blinking cursor on blank screen at boot. Could it be that the P6T Deluxe Installer v1.15.pkg does not have the right DSDT and Kexts for my P6T SE motherboard? Please advise, I'm stuck. Thanks Dogbe
  7. Using the P6TDeluxe v1.15.7z.zip ISO on a P6T-SE I managed to install everything exactly as described as in the above post. Everything went smooth and according to the plan, but at the end, I did not manage to boot into the installation even with the given instructions at the bottom! It just hangs at the blank screen with blinking cursor. I have followed additional steps at this thread and still am not able to boot and it hangs at the blinking cursor page: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=68973&pid=490390&mode=threaded&start=&do=findComment&comment=490390 Please advise, and please do not tell me read and use the search, because i've been at this for many hours reading and attempting everything at insanelymac. Literally gone insane, so here i'm posting. Please help out. Thanks
  8. Not trying to be too demanding on here, but as a new user here, I find it very hard to get Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on P6T-SE with the tutorial being spread across 20 or more posts in this thread. It would be wonderful and highly appreciated if the main tutorial gets updated on the main page. Hope i'm not the only one and my request is comprehended. Thanks
  9. As i mentioned before, i do not own any Mac hardware yet. "A functioning OS X environment" is a requirement in the guide. Is there anyway i can do this all from Windows. So far i used TransMac to load the leopard OS on the thumbdrive... Thanks akhenamenra
  10. Hello, Being new to the Mac world, I do not yet own any mac hardware. I currently have a desktop with the following specs: ASUS P6T-SE Intel i7 920 OCZ 6GB DDR3 1333 MHz 1TB 64MB SATA II WD GeForce GT8600 So far I've used TransMac to make my flashdrive bootable with the retail Snow Leopard (10A432).
