    Gigabyte G41M-ES2L and 10.6 install.

Am using G41M-ES2L... I think, it was the easiest board I ever worked on: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=9542...mp;l=d188020eaa
  2. Been running Snow Leopard up to 10.6.3 on both boards, all pistons running... thought I'd share. Here's a photo manual: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=9542...mp;l=d188020eaa All the best.

How to boost the OS X boot process...

I've 2 machines on hackintosh, a GA-G41M-ES2L and a GA-EP35-DS3... at early stage of snow leopard, they boot-up within 15 seconds... but since updated to 10.6.3, the boot-up time went up to 30 sec or so - not too shabby I know, but I wonder which kexts or settings that were changed... http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1178...100000686595632 Been doing a good job there, thanks a bunch.
  6. Thanks, man. This is excellent - heaven-sent.
  7. I've been running Snow Leopard since it first came out, now at 10.6.3 (updated recently), on a G41M-ES2L and EP35-DS3 successfully, thanks to you and some other dear 'Machackers' in this forum... thanks a bunch, man. Now, I'm putting up a photo manual for my circle of friends, and I wish to share it with everyone here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=9542...mp;l=d188020eaa

    [TOTALLY VANILLA] Retail Snow Leopard

I've been installing Hacked MacOSX from 10.4, 10.5, up to 10.5.8, and now snow leopard up to 10.6.3 (2 weeks ago), but I'm still in the dark about DSDT... I did try to do it, but this one topic really threw me off, and I admit, I'm lost.... I'm running 2 hackintosh machines currently, stably I might add - running everything but the kitchen-sink, on a GA-EP35-DS3, and another on GA-EG41M-ES2L. No DSDT involved... just used a hacked installer that installed the usual basic kexts... with changed kexts on fakesmc, NCPM, SleepEnabler and voodooHDA (8 kexts changed from vanilla) - before and after 10.6.3 updates. And my machine is running flawlessly.... Am I missing something? Is DSDT mandatory... and I've been doing all these wrongly? Have a look: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=9542...mp;l=d188020eaa
