1. [GUIDE] OS X Lion on Intel D945GCLF2 Atom 330

Is nobody still playing with Lion on D945GCLF2? Anyone got 10.7.5 running reliably (how?) or not? Just picked up this mobo again and wondering if to put Snow on it or Lion. ML out of question!
2. @Ovof, yes, please do share... otherwise it just looks like your bragging!! ;-)
3. Broadcom BCM57785 LAN

Thanks... do you have USB working for mass storage devices? It only seems to work for mice/keyboards for us mere mortals!!!
4. Broadcom BCM57785 LAN

Where did you find it as the ones I find say they wont work if under "intense" traffic? Also could you post it pre-inserted into IONetworkingFamily.kext? It doesnt seem to like me inserting it myself and wont work for me :-(
5. @Shailua Do you think we will see an AR8162 driver any time soon? I like the look of Asus Vivobook but it has that LAN chip...
6. Asus 1201N Installation and support

I didnt EXPECT someone to do it for me... just wondered if anyone was able to. FYI. I tried the guide and I can boot into Snow but each time it just spends 30 mins or more sitting at the nice purple screen with the mouse pointer spinning and then occasionally stopping and then spinning again. That was 10.6 - 10.6.4 and stopping there where the guide said you'd have a working machine.
7. Asus 1201N Installation and support

Some great info in this HUGE thread and a real pity that the "guide" referred to in the OP is so out of date. eg it talks of updating to 10.6.4 when we're well past that, then it bolts on a 10.6.6 and 10.6.7 bit. What about a CLEAN guide for a "from scratch" install to 10.6.8 v1.1 without Voodoo Sound and without mentioning the onboard ethernet not working (when it does with a kext) I dont have a 1201N yet to try but it would be V helpful if an owner could fix the guides or do a new one. What 10.6.9? :wink2:
8. Z68XP-UD3 F6

Different mobo.. try search for YOUR mobo? Now, back to topic... did you guys update to 10.7.1/2 using a downloaded Combo update or using the Software update feature? Was this before or after using #####?
9. Z68XP-UD3 F6

Guys Isnt USB3 working? And this is for using Onboard HD3000?
10. MacOs X on ASUS Eee PC 1015PN ?

Very interested in this netbook for a Hackintosh but its not FS in UK. Where are you guys buying yours? Please PM me as I dont want thread going off topic. Looking forward to seeing this guide too!
11. D945GCLF2 Snow Leopard

Bearing in mind we are at 10.6.7 now and the guide is well out of date can someone with a fully working retail solution post a full guide with DSDT and associated patches rather than a one line "Ive done it with XX and YY". Thanks guys.
12. Rebranding Atheros AR5006EG to a Vanilla Card

Hi, hope this is the right place to ask but I have an AR5BXB63 (AR5001/AR5006 depending on where you look). I installed this to my netbook as it is the only card that works with AROS (Amiga-like OS) but I'd like to use OSX also. I suspect if I do this procedure to convince OSX it is an Apple card it will cease to work in AROS so is there any other way to get the card working in OSX without writing to Eeproms? If not and I do have to hack it to appear an Apple card, will it still work in Windows and Linux (I quad boot) ???
13. Can anyone confirm this is a proper driver or is it just a kext that allows the native resolution? LAN is Atheros AR8131 I believe which there is an OSX driver for. Audio is Realtek ALC but which model? It should be fine with kext Wifi card is what? And does anyone know if its full size miniPCIE or half size?
14. Dell Inspiron M101z

Well I have no idea why you think this would work well but ALC259 audio - I see no evidence that works AR8132 Lan - yeah that will work HD4225 IGP - sorry doesnt work So basically no good - pity, looks a nice box
15. SL on Asus AT3IONT-I Deluxe

@Nargot Can you please confirm the board has Realtek LAN as well. Can't seem to confirm elsewhere and as my purchase depends on a board with Realtek LAN for its other use (Amiga-like OS called AROS) I need to be sure. Also any DSDT sorted yet? I'm sure it would improve matters to have a good DSDT. I think there are some helpful guides at Tonymacx86.com
