Im using the ALC1200_1063 from the first post. I 1. Deleted kext's containing 'audio' in their name 2. Used kext-helper to install the appleHDA in S/L/E 3. Rebooted, and no device showing up. Tried a dozen times now, still no luck. I've also tried rebuilding my caches and permissions a couple of time after install of the kext. What am i doing wrong?
  2. EDIT: Audio patch from first post dosn't seem to do anything.. neither does post#1452.. :/ so what do i do? Thank you for your reply! Im typing this from my hackintosh.. all i had to do, to make it boot and install, was "GraphicsEnabler=No" that made it purr like a kitten.. applied THIS FIX to get my GTX 295 to work.. and PRESTO.. I updated to 10.6.7, so idk if i'll 'ever' be able to get sound working.. but USB sound works.. i'll give that fix you posted a try..
  3. I did a search and found a driver for the R1000 ethernet... added that to my extensions and tried again, still wont boot to the install screen. Any help?
  4. Please i need some help! As with any other method of installing Snow Leopard i've tried, im getting the freeze at "AppleRTL8169Ethernet: Ethernet Adress 00:26:xx:xx:xx..... I wonder what the problem is Any help?
  5. Im still stuck at that RTL8169 freeze point.. I've tried a million combinations of kexts, still no luck.. it hangs there everytime! If i disable my LAN in BIOS it hangs at the previous step, with audio something.. blah.. im almost giving up!
  6. So i finally was able to boot off my stick i created using Tweak41's guide I booted with -v parameters, and got stuck at the AppleRTL8169Ethernet: Ethernet adress 00:00:xx:xx:xx... I tried disabling my Ethernet in BIOS, and instead i got stuck at Sound assertion (....AppleHDACodecGeneric.cpp" at line 890 goto handler) What do I do? I searched for a RTL8169 kext.. but with no luck.. Thanks a BUNCH in advance for any help! Wish i could get this baby up and running!
  7. Booted, stuck on AppleRTL8169Ethernet: Ethernet Adress xx:xx:x.... Disabled my LAN in BIOS and got stuck on Sound assertion "0 != widget->setUnsolicited ( TRUE)" Failed in "/sourcecache/appleHDA/AppleHDA-174.1.1/AppleHDA..... instead.. Any ideas, to fix that?
  8. Im having some problems with my iAtkos v7 install! I've been reading alot and last night decided to just jump into it.. I got it installed, ticked some boxes by looking at some guides around the net. This is the post i based my box ticking off of: Box Ticking But everytime i try booting my install im stuck at "Mac framework successfully initialized Using xxxxxx buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers" everytime when booting the installation up for the first time. im running flags: -v cpus=1 busratio=20 ofc... on my Specs: P6T SE i7 920 6GB ram Dual XFX (not EVGA) GTX295's (only hoping of getting one of them to work) BIOS setup is as this topic suggested: BIOS config Im hoping someone can shed some light on this for me.. Any help is MUCH appreciated! Kind Regards, Phill On another note, i quickly jumped in the osx86 IRC channel, and game quick summary of my troubles, and first reply was "forget LEO distros, go for retail snow" Im MORE than willing to do that, since i'll get 64bit support aswell, but how do i make a retail disc boot and install on my windows??
