1. Hazard AMD 10.6.2 Kernel Panic

Awesome, seems to be working perfectly now Thanks a lot for your help! I really appreciate it!
2. Hazard AMD 10.6.2 Kernel Panic

Thank you so much for replying and helping me out!m I've downloaded the file, and I just have one more question, where do I install this just so I install it correctly, and am I going to have to repair permissions or do anything in Terminal?
3. Hazard AMD 10.6.2 Kernel Panic

*BUMP* Can anyone provide some kind of insight? Or at least point me in the right direction?
4. Hi, I finally got a fairly successful SL install on my AMD PC, I'm running Hazard 10.6.2: AMDx2 64 Athlon +3800 abit motherboard nforce chipset Nvidia 9800GT 1GB Hazard Install: 10.6.2 (now 10.6.4) Kernel - Legacy GFX Enabler CMOS - LegacyAppleRTC Audio - AppleAzalia SATA-ATA-Fix - 10ATAFamFix + SATA UUID AppleUpStreamuserClientDisabler NV Enabler AMD I was able to patch cupid's when upgrading to 10.6.4 using a guide on these forums. But not with the Marvin AMD tool. Anyways, everything works fine, I can't find any problems with the OS running on my PC except for when I try to install large files or download large files (sized at least 5GB or above). I've tried downloading torrents and if the file is small enough it downloads quickly without any error. But when I try to download something large I get a kernel panic. This also happens when I install something like StarCraft 2, or WoW for example it will install so far and than i will get a kernel panic every time, not always in the same spot though. I've taken a couple screenshots of the error which i've attached. UPDATE: I found that this error also occurs when something is taking more processing power. I recently played World of Warcraft (after moving all files onto an external and transferring it over instead of installing it which also causes this same kernel panic.) and after about a minute or two or gameplay the same kernel panic occurred. I was also able to update to 10.6.4 but the problem still exists.
5. AMD x2 64 Athlon +3800 Snow Leopard

Anyone? Could use some help and insight on this if anyone could shed some light.. that would be great. I can't install anything that takes more than 5 minutes. Please help, it would be greatly appreciated.
6. What iAtkos should I use?

Well, I've had some successful installs with iAtkos V7, but if you're running intel, you should try the iAtkos S3 for intel. Either way, you should check the packaged contents for supported drivers/hardware, that should make your decision easier. May not even be iAtkos you need. I had to use Hazard for Snow Leopard, but I am an AMD user as well.

8. HP Pavilion m8530f

*bump* Anyone help with this issue? Or someone that can point me in the right direction?
9. HP Pavilion m8530f

Hello, I recently inherited an HP computer from my friend who was fruterated that it wasn't working. I replaced a couple of parts such as the power supply and graphics card and removed a bad stick of RAM. everything else in the computer has original parts besides the new 500w power supply and ATI radeon X1600. It's currently running an AMD Phenom x4 9550. I'm not sure of the mother board model and chipset however. I have tried running, iDeneb v1.6 lite edition, iATKOS v7, and I've also tried the ##### method, none of which seem to work. the iDeneb and iATKOS loaders bring up the apple logo and than have a circle with a slash above the logo appear and doesn't boot to install. No kernel panicks or error messages appear. Through various boot discs for snow leopard I have gotten 2 different discs to work, one with Chameleon and another one, I don't remember the name (red apple with a face?) Anyway, both of these did roughly the same thing, I am able to boot, and than put in my SL retail disc. Once I boot (either with -x -v cpus=1 or -v and without) it will process some information from the disc for a couple of minutes and than either go to a black screen and do nothing, or bring up the apple logo and do nothing. I'm not sure how to pinpoint the issue or find out what the issue might be, I'm still trying to get different distro's and see if any others will work. Any suggestions?? Anything I'm doing completely wrong? I had installed iDeneb and iATKOS both on another AMD PC, but it was a custom built model with varying parts as well, and took some tries, but it is odd to me that I can't even reach an installation menu with this new desktop. EDIT: I've added some pictures of an error I encountered using iDeneb v1.6. Some of them are a little blurry but hopefully a bit legible, my monitor cut off a bit of the picture as well, i used an ipod touch to take the images.
10. SystemUpdates

AMD 64x2 3400+, 2.2Ghz 4GB DDR2 1024Mhz RAM nVidia GeForce 9800GT 1GB aBit KN9 mobo iDeneb v1.6 10.5.8 Lite Edition Hi there, So, my install has been pretty successful. Everything seems to work fine, CI/QE works perfect, multiple displays work, it runs smooth and fast, even in parallels with Windows 7. I have not had any issues with the system until updates, I haven't used any updates that pop up from apple for Mac OS X, I will update certain applications such as iTunes, Quicktime, Garageband etc. etc. (some iLife components do not update succesfully, but that's not a big deal.) They will update fine, but when I restart the OS after the updates it seems to mess with Chameleon v2 which I use to boot and than it can't find the OS or says there is no OS. I promptly fixed the issue by booting my iDeneb disk again and reinstalling Chameleon and that fixed the issue, I was able to run Leopard again with the updates installed and I tested and it has been booting fine ever since. What I would like to know is, in future updates is there a way I can avoid this? Because I'm sure I was just lucky with being able to reinstall Chameleon and I have Time Machine working and backing up my files, so I'm not overly worried. On a side note (and this has happened since I used windows.) Whenever I put a DVD into my system the computer will shut off, I believe it may be a power supply issue, as I have a very small one (230w) and I have swapped DVD drives to test. However, when I use an OS disc it seems to be fine, Windows 7 disk never shuts off the computer, but Mac OS X will shut it off on occasion. I'm just wondering if anyone maybe has had experience with something like this and if that is indeed the issue. Thank You.
11. I was able to get it working with the QE, but it is very buggy, it doesn't run smooth and for some reason when i launch Adium while QE is on, my computer freezes, it's also pretty laggy and acts a little weird on my system. It works, just not very well.
12. Ok, so I did get my card to display at most 1280x1024, but that's my current displays restriction. I tried using the file you had and your method, but it didn't work on my system for my X1600. I did however try the fix I had done before (after backing up my system this time of course.) and it seems to have done the trick. However CI/QE isn't functioning. The error I received when trying to install the EVOenabler, was that it was installed incorrectly and to install it again etc. I may have done something wrong though, more than likely.
13. After I've done that, do I also change the model from ATI Radeon X1800XL to ATI Radeon X1600? or whatever the model name should be? and after that where do I put the file? System/Library/Extensions ?
14. I have a Radeon X1600 I've been trying to get working correctly on my PC. I had tried this walkthrough http://apple2pc.blogspot.com/2008/02/how-t...=comm-sub-email but ultimately failed when rebooting, goes to the loading screen with the wheel spinning, than the screen would flicker a second and the wheel would cease to spin.. and than it involved me to reinstall OSX completely using iAktos v7. Everything else seems to work fine. Anyway, I'm willing to try my luck again with getting the X1600 to work properly "i'm currently stuck at 1024x768." If you have any additional help or instructions that can help the process that would also be a big help. Edit: Probably should have read more carefully, I'm running Leopard, not Snow Leopard. So I'm not sure if this would work the same way.
15. Internet/sound/resolution problems?

I've had similar issues as well. I had installed my Leopard iAtkos v7 about 2 days ago "and have since reinstalled it at least 3 times to get the correct drivers/configurations." The internet had not been working until I found the proper chipset driver for the nForce ethernet adapter, even than it seemed to not be working. I than installed an old dlink wireless card to my computer, turned it back on and worked fine. Not sure if the card had much to do with it. As for the resolution, I have the same issue. I'm stuck at 1024x768. However, I'm running an ATI Radeon X1600 which is the best part of 3-4 years old. Runs perfect on my windows setup, but not on my Leopard setup. I tried installing a patch from a specific walkthrough for it, but it concluded in me having to reinstall my OS again since I didn't have an extra partition to backup. the Mac on Pc is tricky depending on your setup and the version you're using. iAtkos v7 seems to have worked very well for me, after a couple of trial and error points I seem to have it working quite well. With of course some minor but noticable issues, like not being able to download certain files/installing them. In safari it will crash the OS if you download something like MSN. I used chrome to download msn afterwards, but than it crashes when it's mounting. A lot of trial and error. It's a good thing it's easy to install/reinstall.
