1. Mac capture cards

Just got this card this morning, installed and am getting nothing. Going to boot into Windows and see if it works there, but does it show up for you guys in the PCI Cards part of System Profiler for you? Final Cut Pro sees nothing, the Blackmagic Media Express software doesn't see it either. Latest software installed from the Blackmagic website as well. Installed into the lower PCI Express x4 slot on my GA-H55-UD2H motherboard. Is this maybe not supported by OS X? Using the vanilla kernel, 10.6.3, other specs all below. ANY assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks y'all. EDIT: Figured it out... nowhere did I see to go to System Preferences to change the input to Component, and also I had to sync my U-verse DVR and the video format in Media Express to the appropriate resolution.
2. iTunes/QuickTime Stuttering?

Nevermind guys, looks like 10.6.3 fixed this. YAY!
3. 10.6.3 Released !

Renamed and then eventually moved that .kext from the folder (did not yet delete it, but did not put it in the Extensions folder) but I am still booting up and then losing the ability to type. Luckily I have a broken PowerBook G4 sitting alongside that I can still somewhat use. I can't even try and see if anything fails, as soon as it appears to "load" everything in Chameleon, it just zooms by until it eventually boots.
4. 10.6.3 Released !

Still can't type in Single User mode. this is such a messed up error, the ports work and I can mount thumbrives, but not my keyboard and mouse?! Very odd... Wonder if it's an issue with Apple branded keyboards as well...
5. Hi All, Got my Hackintosh up and running, but have one issue that's a kind of big deal in my opinion. Whenever I load up iTunes or Quicktime, the computer starts to stutter. I don't know what it is, but playback of audio seems fine, but there's a definite input lag with the mouse and being able to control it, plus general performance issues. Here's a video: http://gallery.me.com/ckelley87#100008 Now, there's no issue with framerates or anything in that video, that's actually how it works for me. Once I quit QuickTime or iTunes, computer works flawlessly. Anyone encounter this issue before or have a solution? 10.6.2 Vanilla Kernel Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2T Core i5 750 nVidia GT240 Thanks much!
6. I wouldn't be buying a non-Intel Mac. By 10.7, PowerPC Macs will be a thing of the past as far as software support goes. More and more are coming out as Intel only.
7. I'm on a mother flippin Mac!

These guys are great. "The New Dork" is great as well:
8. Old computer repair commercial

Mid 90's? Nah, pretty par for the course... Hell, the commercial is stuck in my head, if I probably had a question back then, I'd go to him first. Crazy commercials like this work.
9. Thanks for the reply, I eventually just went and ran with tonymacx86's ##### + ##### installation method and lo-and-behold it works. Typing from it now. I used ##### + -x because it kept crashing, installed Snow Leopard to my 500GB SATA drive, restarted and booted into OS X with -x again, installed the 10.6.2 Combo Update and then used ##### to install the additional software/extensions needed for my board + hardware. Works amazing, I have a 24" 2.8GHz C2D iMac for work and this thing just screams past it. Specs are GA-H55M-UD2H, 4GB RAM, Nvidia GT220, 500GB WD Caviar Green SATA, so people who may find this via Google someday will know that it's not too difficult.
10. Is there any support for the H55M-UD2H board? I've scoured this site for hours, someone in this thread (trwoolley) said it was, but he was mistaken for the P55M-UD2H board. Think I could get it to work if I tried using that as my selection? I know they're different chipsets. Also, I've found someone who posted a YouTube video of saying it worked, but no instructions or directions or anything. I have a Gigabyte H55M-UD2H board, Core i5 750, Nvidia GT220, 4GB RAM, and 500GB Hard Drive. I'm this close to PayPaling someone who can assist me in just finding how to start! I'm going to dual boot this with a Windows 7 drive (Mac OS on one, Windows 7 on the other). I have a retail Snow Leopard DVD (bought for my Macs, so 10.6.0) that I'll be using. If anyone can assist, I'd appreciate GREATLY!
