  1. The bootable DVD from Olarila works the same way, right?
  2. What's easier, using this bootable USB or installing Snow Leopard and then upgrading to Lion?
  3. Hello folks, first post after a while...last time I entered InsanelyMac I was trying to install Snow Leopard on my 5930G...the pre-installed Vista burnt down by itself, and I had to format and install Win7. Oh well. Ok, now I have built a new computer with these specs: MoBo: Asrock Z77 Pro3 CPU: i5 3570K RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB(2x4GB) HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA2(recycled from my old PC) PSU: Corsair GS700 VGA: Gigabyte GTX 670 WindForce Yeah, a freakin' gaming PC. And it does its job(gaming) damn good. However, now I have a dual-boot with Windows and Arch Linux. And yesterday it came to my mind: "Hey, I could do a triple-boot with OSX! That would be the most awesome thing since Planescape Torment!" However, I don't have a Mac. How can I make an Hackintosh out of this PC, without having a Mac?

  5. I've got an Acer Aspire 5930G.I installed iDeneb v1.4 in it,using Vanilla Kernel, ICHx Fixed as chipset, video driver NVKush,Azalia audio driver,AppleYukon2 as ethernet driver, but it gets stuck at the Gray Apple Screen.I started it in verbose mode, here's what I got: Thanks in advance. P.S.Sorry for my bad English.I'm Italian.
  6. Ok...which "distro" should i use?Hazard or Retail?Also,should I first install Leopard then Snow or i can directly install Snow?And which settings should i use in the installation? Btw,it's not a 5930,but a a 5930G BTW,how did you know that I'm Italian?
  7. it returns me a 404 page not found
  8. I have an Acer Aspire 5930,with win7(installed by me) on it.How can I install Snow Leopard on it,dual booting with win7? ?
  9. If I'm not wrong, you should use the Sleep kernel...if the kernels are the same of the Kalyway Leopard
  10. Also, you can choose the Win7 drive as the standard boot disk and use EasyBCD to modify the Se7en bootloader, adding your Hackintosh
  11. How can I get Snow Leopard to work in an Acer Aspire 5930?
