I just got my new iPod Nano this past weekend, been waiting for a smaller version that would do video and there it was. I use Windows XP and have used iTunes for quite sometime and have noticed that there doesn't appear to be a way to update the library. I sometimes move a folder onto my backup USB drive and would like to be able to update iTunes to the new location, but it seems to want to keep the reference in the old location unless I search for new location of each file. Is there something I am missing or is there some other way to automatically refresh the library and remove the ones that aren't there anymore? I hope I posted this in the right location. BTW: I really like my new iPod, first iPod for me, but long time fan. Now just need to get a 24" iMac.
