  1. iOS 4 on other ARM v7 based devices

This is definately a possibility, but it would take a dev team with a decent amount of knowledge in iOS development and how it works.
  2. 10.6.7 Update released

I updated on my AMD machine (using a 10.6.6 Legacy Kernel) and it broke the semi-support for the ATI Radeon HD 4650. This made me mad. I had a perfectly stable AMD hackintosh and now it's stuck at a standard resolution without QE/CI. :/ Anybody know of a fix?
  3. iOS 4 on other ARM v7 based devices

After doing some research, I think putting iOS onto another device is definitely possible. The Apple A4 chip uses the same ARM v7 instruction sets as the Snapdragon processor so we don't have to worry about that. Isn't iOS just OS X with a different GUI and cpu architecture? This means that we should be able to develop kexts just like on any other OS X install to make all of the device work. Now, I'm not saying this is easy, but I do believe it can be done. Do you think this is possible or am I wrong about all of this?
  4. LoginWindow.app

I have the same problem with this... I have no idea where to find the image to swap it out :/ I've upgraded 10.6.6, so that is the only thing "Hazard Related" left on my machine...
  5. Spinning Beach Balls everywhere after 10.6.6 update

Hmm, I'm on 10.6.6 and I haven't noticed anything like that... I have the latest version of flash so I don't know what the difference is :/
  6. Well, when I originally installed OS X on my PC I started with Hazard 10.6.2. The 10.6.2 install had problems for me, but after updates it was much better. The way I updated was I used the 10.6.5 and 10.6.6 combo updates and applied them one at a time. I didn't have problems with audio, graphics (I did have to add my dev id to kexts though), or ethernet. I will remind you that there is no AMD/Legacy kernel for 10.6.6 yet, so you have to download and install the 10.6.5 Legacy kernel from here before you restart after applied the combo updates. If this is unclear or you need more help feel free to PM me. I hope I helped, Nick
  7. Upgrading the Hackintosh!

Anybody else wanna help? Please I need to know soon :/
  8. Hey Guys! After Christmas I will have a good chunk of change for upgrading my computer. I have Dual monitors, but with my 4650 I can't use both. Since the iMac has a Radeon 4670 are they compatible without any modifications or enablers? Can I boot in the full res of my monitors? On top of not being able to use dual monitors I have had trouble with things that I think might be gfx card related. Like, Safari crashes during the "Welcome to Safari" animation. Also, iMovie crashes when I try to export anything (even a small mp4 video). I also have problems with screen recording in QuickTime X, because I can't export in the full resolution of my screen it goes to resolution like "700x576". As to the RAM, can I use all 8GB in 10.6.5 because I have read that it doesn't work with more than 4GB in a hackintosh. Also, is the fact that osx detects my RAM as DDR3 instead of DDR2 bad? P.S. When I use the iStat Pro widget under 10.6.2 it double panics and I have to restart. Is this because of my AMD processor? Current Specs: Hazard Snow Leopard 10.6.2/Windows 7 Ultimate x86 AMD Phenom II x3 720 BE @2.8GHz 4GB G.Skill 1066MHz DDR2 RAM Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4650 512MB (QE/CE, but no dual displays with dev id added to kexts) Future Specs: Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.5 (Hazard 10.6.2 + 10.6.5 Combo Update and 10.6.4 Legacy Kernel) AMD Phenom II x3 720 BE @2.8GHz 8GB (2x4GB) 1066MHz DDR2 RAM XFX ATI Radeon HD 4670 1GB
  9. Use ImgBurn! It's free and it works
  10. Cheap NoteBook for Hackintoshing

Well, I had to format the OS X partition on my Desktop because I screwed up the graphics .kext files... I lost my SL DVD, but I now have it installed again so that is not a problem
  11. Cheap NoteBook for Hackintoshing

What do you guys think about a Dell Inspiron e1505? Is it Snow Leopard compatible? I might be getting one for free soon
  12. (Rumor) Lion might be the next OS X release

Grrr... That just means another OS we have to make work on a PC. haha. Hopefully, it will include support for more standard hardware (Not that Apple wants that though :/).
  13. I suggest building a new computer
  14. Hey Guys! I have seen many install SL install guides on the internet that require you to restore the SL Retail disk image to a usb drive. My question is, can it be done in Ubuntu instead? I don't really have access to a Mac to do the restore from, but I do have a working Ubuntu 10.04 install. I have .iso and an 8GB USB drive so I have 2 out of the 3 required things. My computer isn't the most "hackintoshable" system out there, so I need to put some .kexts in the Install DVD/USB Drive. Thanks in Advance, Nick
  15. G5 side window

Awesome Job!! It's a beast! P.S. Do you think you could take a pic of your setup (Desk, Hackintosh, Monitors)??
