  1. Well installing OS X on non-Apple hardware involves some tweaking and isn't as straight forward like installing RHEL. I've setup Yosemite on my Supermicro board and that took me a few days. Your best bet is to find a guide for similar hardware and give that a shot.
  2. I would start by finding a tutorial for a x99 motherboard since it's the same as the c610. If you're going to UEFI I would start by trying to find a Clover x99 guide and go from there.
  3. I kinda Figured it out! AutoDMG + vfuse worked I mounted the VMDK and booted from it https://github.com/chilcote/vfusehttps://github.com/MagerValp/AutoDMG
  4. So this might be a stupid question but I can't seem to figure out how to build a installer drive for ESXI. Does anyone have an idea what VMware Fusion does when creating an image that's an installer that is mounted for booting and installing an OS X vm?
  5. GTX 670 issue

Nice! Do you mind posting your specs and your Clover config?
  6. GTX 670 issue

It's been a bit since I've been hackintoshing. I have this build working with Yosemite (10.10.4) but can't seem to get my GTX670 to work with 10.10.11. I'm booting with the latest version of clover with no graphics injection. I have monitors connected to: HDMI, DVI, and DisplayPort. When booting verbose (-v) I can see where the Nvidia drivers are loaded similarly to Yosemite but then my screen goes blank. I can see my hack show up on the network from other computers. Booting with nv_disable=1 works for me. Any ideas? What video card? Can you post a screenshot of how it fails? I would try placing the installer in your Applications folder. This is what mine looked like: sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ 10.11\ Developer\ Beta.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Applications//Install\ OS\ X\ 10.11\ Developer\ Beta.app --nointeraction

Have you tried the createinstallmedia method?
  10. OS X El Capitan Test Thread

Thanks for the info. All of that looks like what I have. In kext/10.11 what file should I add. I have fakeSMC right now. Anything else?
  11. OS X El Capitan Test Thread

How were you able to get your GTX 660 working? Any tips?
  12. Some feedback and question

    I think it's rootless=0

Wifi / BT and USB sound work out of the box. The only issue is with my GPU. I can only get it to boot with "nv_disable=1". I attempted to use the WebDriver-346.01.02f04.pkg drivers via Pacifist with no luck.
  14. Clover General discussion

Any idea where I should look to start debugging this issue: I'm on the latest version of Clover and Mavericks. Ever since I switched over from Chameleon to Clover I've been getting these prompts when I login: Then a few seconds later when I reach my desktop I get this: - Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP5 TH Any ideas where to start troubleshooting? Thanks! Alfa
  15. Boot Guide

I was able to get it to work. chmod -R 755 FakeSMC.kext/ then chown -R root:wheel FakeSMC.kext/ Thanks for the tutorial!
