  1. I did a bit of digging on this yesterday and today. I think I found a reason why this might be happening. That's a bit of info taken from this guide: https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2012/06/all-about-unicode-utf8-character-sets/ You could also try this I suppose but it seems like Wine isn't recognizing the character set used in the app. Change the pathway of the MS Office used in the example to the pathway of the app you are trying to port. Also I'm not 100% sure the "env" variable is used the same on Ubuntu and MacOS. https://askubuntu.com/questions/884133/cannot-write-arabic-language-in-ms-word-with-ubuntu
  2. Wine does not work in Sierra High (log)

If for some reason Wineskin users should click on this looking for a correct answer to why Wineskin.app does not work on high sierra. It's due to a bug in Wineskin since the new OS release. Wineskin has not been updated in some time but the workaround to getting it to work on HS is simply to disable the Direct3D GPU detection option within Wineskin.app. To do this hold alt/option and double click on your Wineskin wrapper that will not work. Click on Set Screen Options and de-select "Auto-Detect GPU for Direct3D" The wrappers will now launch correctly on MacOS High Sierra.
  3. The Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim

Check it out! The release of Skyrim had a few of our members quick to port this amazing follow up to TES IV. As such you can find a cider and a wineskin version within the forum topic. Check out the main blog post and follow the link from there http://portingteam.com/2011/11/skyrim-mac-port/ New members will have to sign up and post a few times to gain access to certain sections of our forums.
  4. Shortly after MW3 was released we had members working on a playable port. Some people report that the game plays flawlessly, others were having issues...it all depends on your hardware but for the most part this totally playable just like WaW and MW2! Check out the blog post that Porting Team member RazorPro threw up on the main blog http://portingteam.com/2011/11/cod-mw3-for-mac/ Full support for this port is available in the forum wrapper post although new members will have to sign up and post a few times before gaining full access to our site.
  5. Twin Sector for Mac OSX?

It has a silver rating over at the App DB so with a little bit of porting knowledge it should be do able. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?...n&iId=17919
