17R INSPIRON laptop Need Help

Ok i have the same laptop and i am trying to get a triple boot going. What are you using to try and boot into OSx? I have 10.6.3 retail disk and i am trying to boot using netbook CD, but im looking into using ##### or something. Problem is whenever i actually try and boot into OSx, The computer shuts off and restarts. I think the problem is either the CPU or the GPU, i cant find any support for the radeon 5470. Have you found anything yet? Um, and as for the image, i am fairly sure there is some software that you can use with BartPE that can image hard disk drives like that.

So how does the Mobility Radeon 5470 go for compatibility? I haven't been able to find anything online with it working. Only one i have found anything on it working properly is the 5770

    Introduce yourself.

Oh Hai there! I'm pongo, as far as you know. There is a hippo named pongo, he stole my name, stupid newborn. Just bought a Dell Inspiron 17r so I shall be lurking around for a bit and seeing if i can get a triple boot working on the devilishly large screen, so hopefully just found myself a new home. I work at officeworks, been doing computery stuffs since i was 8, and i'm looking forward to learning the Mac side of things. Oh, and i am a big fan of cheese, just saying

Guide to install mac os x on acer aspire one d250

Howdy guys, Recently Hackintoshed the D250, just a few questions about wireless, (cant start a topic) Ok so i bought the Broadcom BCM4321 and plugged it into the Spare mini Pcie port at the bottom/back of the laptop, whatever you what to call it. I rewired one of my aerials from the standard half mini card by the speaker inside the card, and plugged it into the card in the PCI-e port. So now i has the questions. 1. How many aerials do i need to plug in, because i plugged in one and i cant either get or a signal or (carry on to question two) 2. Is there anything fancy i need to do here? Because when i plug the card into the PC, and boot it up. It comes up with Turn Airport on. I click away, but i still cant turn it on.... So main question is, Dodgy card? or am i going about this the wrong way. I will take photos tomorrow, i am capped at the moment.... took me ages to register *bumpage* anything?
