1. The Best thing to do is to write down your device ids and look into the forum for the individual drivers from people who may have successfully gotten their hardware to work. Eg, put in your graphic card info in the "search engine" and see if anybody got his working! All the best, just reply if you need anything, and don't forget to visit the tutorials section for installation help.
2. ATi Radeon HD5450

Are you a noob or a newbie? Simply add GraphicsEnabler=Yes in the plist file in the Extra folder and reboot to get QE/CI. No addition of kext if you already have 10.6.7 or above update...
3. Ok Here's my snow 10.6.7 pc
4. Just recently bought this new HP Desktop and surprisingly everything seems to work. Ok, here are the major specs. Intel® Core™ i5 processor 650, 3.2 GHz ATI Radeon™ HD 5570 Series Ralink RT3062 Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n Realtek Sound ALC888/ALC888S Realtek LAN RTL8168/8111D The major Distros, which are ##### for retail & iAtkos S3 v2 which runs very slow, were unable to set my computer up and running. "Nawcom's Boot CD" is the real deal. This Boot cd along with Retail Snow disc did the job for me. After updating to 10.6.7 using 10.6.7 Combo Update, graphics worked out of the box. For Wi-Fi, I used original software on Ralink website. VoodooHDA 0.2.56 works perfectly on this machine. The major boot flags are cpus=1 busratio=24. After install, in order to boot from hard drive, add "maxmem=2048". Will be upgrading to LION very soon! This computer is very good, GET ONE!
5. ATI Radeon 5400 or 5000 series on Lion Full QE CI

Can't wait to install this on my HP Pavilion Elite HPE-240f Desktop with ATI Radeon HD 5570 card. Will post results here!
6. Intel HD Graphics / GMA 5700

Have you tested it already? What are some of the advantages? Lolz, we're looking out for that. I want to know the major changes you made to get QE working. It is important because you have QE working, Manor has resolution working. So if we can put the two together we might get somewhere. GhostRaider, according to http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...t=#entry1695719 Use ALL the 10.5.2 AppleIntelGMA kexts from kalway, but use the AppleIntegratedFrambuffer.kext from iAkatos 10.5.1 if you do this u should then have full hardware acceloration no mouse tearing and best of all more resolutions than you will know what to do with. all refresh rates and what not. According to you 2) Once you are on 10.6.7, go to your Extensions folder and delete ALL Graphics Kexts. Delete all Intel GMA 950 Kexts, Intel GMA X3100 kexts, Intel HD Graphics Kexts, ATI Graphics Kexts, NVidia Graphics Kexts, and GeForce Kexts. Don't you think there's something that shouldn't be deleted? I think there's a kext that needs to stay put to enable custom resolution, and I believe AppleIntegratedFrambuffer.kext has a part to play in it.
7. Intel HD Graphics / GMA 5700

The Apple guys are not doing anything new. They just restructuring the lines of codes in the kexts and using newer hardware. Intel GMA 950, 3100, X3100 are all similar. So I guess looking at the pattern of enabling QE/CI can even help us to achieve our aim and speed up the more. Understanding how the previous Intel cards respond to kexts used to enable QE is a good thing, I support that %100.
8. Intel HD Graphics / GMA 5700

So we know that there's problem with EDID info detection. I believe that in order to enable custom resolutions EDID problem must be solved. Critically, I also think there's more to it. There may be a link between our "graphics card" and "RadeonHD.kext" which enables custom resolution in ATI Mobility Radeon cards. I will probably have to do more editing and testing to see what we are actually missing.
9. Intel HD Graphics / GMA 5700

My laptop is not yet with me so I can't do any testing. Hopefully this week I should have it. Will be testing with you, and we will get QE/CI to work.
10. Intel HD Graphics / GMA 5700

Am beginning to feel that working on the Frambuffer kext from the Early MacBook Pro 2011 Kexts can resolve refresh rate issues, and perhaps looking into DSDT can simply enable full resolution! Any considerations on this is worth it, because Intel GMA4500 and some 3100 enabled resolution patching DSDT.
11. Intel HD Graphics / GMA 5700

So I guess this is in SNOW LEOPARD! Tell Us exackly what u did and provide some screenshots as well! Big ups!
12. Intel HD Graphics / GMA 5700

That's Good to See! Let's See More Progress for Intel HD too... Keep It Up!
13. Intel HD Graphics / GMA 5700

No QE/CI. And there are no kexts loaded. Leopard doesn't have any kexts for this graphics card. But I will do my best to post the System Profiler dump.
14. Intel HD Graphics / GMA 5700

My Model is HP Elitebook 8440p, 14 Inches, IDT Sound working fully with VoodooHDA but partially with AppleHDA (only internal speakers work), Broadcom 4312 fully working. Only thing not working is Intel HD Graphics with Resolution 160 0x 900. Cool Resolution for a 14 inches laptop. Could Help Test on my 10.5.8 install if possible. I've Been Watching You Work on this Intel HD Graphics Thing. I'm Also Frustrated Because This Card Doesn't Work. Anyway, Does Graphics Enabler Have Any Impact On IORegistryExplorer dump?
15. Intel HD Graphics / GMA 5700

Just To Note: I Have Leopard 10.5.8 Installed on my HP Elitebook with Intel HD Graphics, And I Can Have Full Resolution Using Graphcis Enabler. Don't Understand Why Some People Can't Have Full Resolution.
