  1. Thanks again Gigamaxx, it works. Getting some artefacts in the top left corner, but for the time being it will do. Now lets hope nvidia releases pascal drivers
  2. Thanks for the reply!! Will give it a go this week.
  3. Hi, Is it possible to disable the external GPU and use the integrated graphics for a Sierra build Hardware: Intel Core i7-6700k, motherboard MSI Z170A Gaming Pro, GPU MSI GTX 1070. I've been searching for a while and could not find a clear answer. I was running a perfect El Capitan installation, but recently updated my GTX 970 to a 1070 I'm really hoping nvidia will release Pascal drivers. For the time being I would like to use this as a temp fix, and this way I can still use the 1070 in Windows Hope someone can help me out.
  4. Hi, I'm trying to compile te LiteCoin source on 10.9. First I installed the dependencies using Macports: sudo port install boost db48 qt4-mac openssl miniupnpc git Downloaded Xcode from the Mac Appstore. Cloned from github. (https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin.git) In terminal navigated to the src folder and ran: make -f makefile.osx It starts compiling and then gives me the following error: ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64 clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) make: *** [litecoind] Error 1 Copied more of the output onto pastebin: http://pastebin.com/TwUDw8Km What am I missing here? Hope someone can help me out. Kind regards, Wilson

    HP DV5 Sleep Issues

Hi all, I'm running 10.6.2 on my HP DV5-1150ED, everything is working great but the thing just won't sleep. I've been all over the net and found a russian dude that got his DV5 to sleep. Problem is, the thread explaining it is in russian. I'm hoping there is someone here that can help me (us DV5 owners) to translate the post. I want to start a thread documenting how to get your DV5 to sleep. A user named tha_toadman is also working on a thread explaining and helping with the DV5 problems. Here is the link to the russian site. It also has links to several kext files he used. http://macfile.ru/makintosh-pavilion-dv5-t9708.html Hope someone can help us. Greeting, Byte

Snow Leopard on HP Pavilion DV5-1215EE

Did you get sleep to work on your DV5?
  11. ByteWorkz

I cant install HAZARD snow leopard

Just try the USB install method. I tried several "distro's" and imho they just suck. I couldn't get any of the distro's to install successful on my laptop. For the USB method you will need a working osx install, but a old leopard install should work fine.

    Left USB ports won't work

Yeah have Windows 7 running on another partition. The ports work fine in windows. Also if i put in a USB pendrive in the slots the led on the USB stick light up for a sec. So there powered. I did read some posts of other HP laptop users with this issue. But no repsonses on those threads.
