  1. Mouse and Keyboard Freezing Randomly

Same EXACT issue here on iPC 10.5.6 Final. System is running decently, everything works except the DVD drive (Nforce chipset problem) but at random times my mouse and keyboard will stop working, and the network will drop wtih it. The rest of the system continues to operate. Lasts until reboot. Core 2 Q6600 Asus P5N-T Deluxe (780i) Logitech mouse & HP Keyboard both USB Dual 9800GTX+ iPC Final 10.5.6, Patched USB2.0 Drivers & IOFamilyPCI.kext (tried without these, same issue) - stock nvidia kexts with NVKush (it was the only way to get CI/QE)
  2. NVIDIA 9 Series Driver Installer v2

Do you get full QE/CI with your 9800+? I'm also using iPC 10.5.6 but I didn't try just using the default kexts and a GFX string (never occured to me that it would work). I'm having no luck with the Aquamac drivers and GFX strings so I may try a fresh install if you can confirm your 9800GTX+ is working with full QE/CI and no artifacts (I have an EVGA not a leadtek, but the device id is the same).
  3. ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 now WORKS CI/QE !

I also have an HP 6910p with the 7188 X2300 Mobility. I have also been totally unsuccessful getting anything out of this card. I tried every thing in this thread (from top to bottom) to no avail. I can't get QE/CI and I can't get resolution changes. If anyone can assist me it would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to drop me a line or add me on msn hoeser_eh@hotmail.com I'm willing to test anything.
  4. My Compaq 6910p woes

I've got everything except the X2300 working with my 6910p. Started with an iDeneb 1.4 10.5.6 install - extremely long boot time in the installer (15mins) but it does get there, selected appropriate hardware (their x2300 does not work by the way...)... Once I got the system rebooted (another 15 minutes) I threw in a couple fixes from my iPC 10.5.6 cd (IOPCMCIA) and now the boot time is normal. I could never get just straightup iPC 10.5.6 working, USB was always failing. I have ethernet, sound, didn't bother with wireless (I don't use it)... no matter what I do I can't get the x2300 working with QE/CI or any resolution other than 1024x768. It sucks. I've tried all the methods of hex editing the X1000 kext but to no avail. Device id for this card is 0x7188 - hope someone can make a kext that works.
