  1. ATI 4670

So a new Dev Version of 10.6.2 was Released and in the notes it says that the Graphic drivers had been updated. So we will see what the next days will bring.
  2. ATI 4670

If SL 10.6.1 would Contain these Kext then Netkas or anybody else would have already found them. Because 10.6.2 is also needed for the Magic Mouse i think the needed Kexts will be in there.
  3. ATI 4670

Just read the news. Hopefully there will be a driver for the 4670 in the next daye, would save me a lot of money for the hackintosch of my Girlfriend.
  4. Hi there, just a quick question. Is it possible to creat a dual boot setup of Windows XP and Mac OS 10.6 from the same HDD? And if it is possible, what is the best Method?
  5. GA-945GCM-S2L everything working 64bit

No luck so far. I have created a boot Stick like that one in this guide here http://lifehacker.com/5351485/how-to-build...ne=true&s=x Then i put the kext's you told me and youre DSDT.aml in the Extra Folder, booted and then the PC hangs after the grey Apple (the Apple disappears and i have a blank grey screen). If i remove the DSDT.aml i get a gray window telling me that i have to restart my PC (an after that i have a CMOS Error). Also if i only take the normal Extra Folder from the Chameleon Release i get this restart message. Maybe it is because of the unsupported ATI HD4670 i use in this PC, but i thought that for such cases Mac OS X has something like a standard VESA driver.

You are perfect, i will try right when i come home! Many thanks for that!
  7. GA-945GCM-S2L everything working 64bit

Yeah would be great if you could be a little more specific which kext's etc. you additionally used etc. My Girlfriend has a desktop with the same MoBo and i want to install SL on her Machine too.

  10. 10.5.6 on MSI WIND?

Yes it worked. I just did i that way (i have a Retail Install on my wind): 1. Downloaded the 10.5.6 Update directly from Apple (http://support.apple.com/downloads/Mac_OS_X_10_5_6_Update?viewlocale=de_DE) (my Wind already had 10.5.5 else take the Combo Update 2. Pluged In my USB Keyboard an Mouse 3. Installed the Update (do not reboot now) 4. Installed the driver Pack (http://rapidshare.com/files/156863271/MSIWindDrivers.mpkg.zip) 5. Rebootet using the Options -v -f -F at the Chameleon prompt 6. Installed the Kext's of the second (http://forums.msiwind.net/download/file.php?id=740) package using Kexthelper (http://cheetha.net/) 7. Final reboot, congratulations you now got a 10.5.6 Wind. If your Sleep doesnt work after that just follow the hint from this Thread (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=141324) Turn on "Restart automatically after a power failure" in Energy Saver -> Options. That did it for me
  11. So i just did a retail DVD install at the Wind of my Girlfriend. wasnt such a big problem with the help of the wind-osx86 wiki. So i installed OSX 10.5.0 added drivers and then made the Update to 10.5.5 via Combo Update, so far so good. The only thing i am missing is the Battery Status, it dosent show the icon becouse it says that there is no Battery, what do i have to do to get my Battery Icon back?
  12. Can someone give me a hint how to enable the "normal" PC Type Keyboard Layout of the Wind on OSX, so you can see what you Type? So that for exampe the @ sign is not on the L button but on the Q button?
  13. Does anyone know which wifi card is in the so called u100-1616XP luxury edition? That the on with b/g/n wifi, bluetooth and the bigger 6cell powerpack. My Girlfriend wants one for x-mas and i just want to put MacOS on it just like on my Desktop and my MacBook
  14. Look at the Sticker on the bottom of your Wind, in the near of the FCC Sign there should be a hint which wifi Chipset is in youre Wind (Atheros, Realtek, Broadcom (BCM)) Maybe it is because the Atom Processor in the MSI Wind dosent support any Virtualisation features, like the Core2Dou's in normal Macs
  15. Welches Leopard Release ist derzeit das Beste?

Ich hab inzwischen übrigens ne Retail installation hinbekommen. Ganz schön nice muss ich ja sagen.
