  1. I have the same card on my computer and i have updated to 10.6.5 with new nvidia drivers and rc5 644 and graphics enabler. However, memory size is 0 when booting, instead of 1024 MB, and so, no booting at all. Is there a way to fix that? Via DSDT perhaps? I have tried GFX strings but no luck

I also have a GT 425m, and I followed the guide to install the new drivers and bootloader, but I can't get to the Desktop. With Leopard 10.5.7, I can boot, but I am only getting 1024 x 768 resolution. With Graphics Enabler=yes, the screen is always stuck for about 2 minutes here: After this, everything seems to boot normally, but finally the Desktop does not appear and the last thing I see is this screen: What am I doing wrong? In the information about the Graphics Card, you can see 0MB instead of 1024, is there a way to correct this and get the card working? Or is there a conflict with the Intel HD from the Core i3 370M? Here are additional infos about the card in windows: Geforce GT425m (HDMI + VGA) I would be very happy if anybody can help me!

    Nvidia 420m support?

I have a GT 425M (1GB) on my new notebook, but it does not work, I think the graphic card is not supported in the bootloader, when I try to boot, I always get that message: Nvidia unknown 0MB NVc1 [10de :0df0] : : PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0) I have the latest Chameleon RC5 r643 and the new Nvidia drivers, but no luck. Can anybody help me please?

    Newer Intel Graphics Drivers Coming?

Hmm yes you are right, it seems that there is no acceleration, therefore my graphics speed are very low, but how can I solve that problem then? I have tried to install the kexts "IntelGMA950" or "integrated framebuffer" or "natit" with OSX86Tools, but nothing changed... I also can't change graphics resolutions in Snow Leopard, in Leopard everythink worked fine...

    Newer Intel Graphics Drivers Coming?

Hello, I have read now much about the drivers for the GMA950, but since I have installed Snow Leopard, my graphic card works not anymore like it had in 10.5.7. I have tried many things, install new kexts, i tried to modify my dsdt (I'm not sure if I have a good one..), I have added the 1280x1024 solution to my string, but I can not even watch a youtube movie in fullscreen like I could in Leopard. There are some changes in the informations. In Os 10.5.7, i had: Intel GMA 950: Chipset Model: GMA 950 Type: Display Bus: Built-In VRAM (Total): 64 MB of Shared System Memory Vendor: Intel (0x8086) Device ID: 0x27a2 Revision ID: 0x0003 ROM Revision: OpenGL Engine activated via EFI String Displays: Display: Resolution: 1280 x 800 Depth: 32-Bit Color Core Image: Hardware Accelerated Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Supported Built-In: Yes Display Connector: Status: No Display Connected And since I have Snow Leopard 10.6.3. (I also tried 10.6. and 10.6.2), there are less information about my card: Mobile GMA950: Chipset Model: Mobile GMA950 Type: GPU Bus: Built-In VRAM (Total): 64 MB of Shared System Memory Vendor: Intel (0x8086) Device ID: 0x27a2 Revision ID: 0x0003 Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded Displays: Display: Resolution: 1280 x 800 Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes I hope my post is not too annoying, because I know there are many threads that talk about this, but I would be really happy if somebody could help me? Thanks in advance
