  1. That's nice. Could you send me some of your graphics kexts? My kexts are now mixture of some with and some without Info.plist. I think that's the reason why my graphics is not working reliably (sometimes SNB not show up). I don't have any Mac users with Mavericks around as they are still with ML. Those kexts are: AppleIntelHD3000* AppleIntelHDGraphics* AppleIntelSNB* Thanks in advance.
  2. @DawTaylor, I made the install media from Mavericks GM DMG. I have been using this method to create install media for SL, Lion, ML... It just works so I'm not bother using any other methods. With this method, I notice that from Lion on, the Info.plist files are gone. Here are the steps: - Restore BaseSystem.dmg to External HDD. - Replace "Packages" link with real contents. - Apply MBR patch. - Copy over some needed kexts (NullCPU, PXCHD, PS2, FakeSMC... ) - Install Chameleon onto the HDD. And after that: - Boot from external HDD with -f -v and install normally. - Copy over needed kexts. - Install lx02x package with options for l502x. - Replace graphics kexts with ones that have Info.plist (copy from somewhere). Did I miss any steps???
  3. @DawTaylor, Thanks for your help. I figure out the problem. My kexts do not have the Info.plist file. As soon as I replace those kexts, QE/CI works just fine. But why are those kexts do not have Info.plist file???
  4. @DawTaylor, Thanks for your fast reply. I tried changing smbios to 8,1 and also GraphicsEnabler=No but the result was the same. I saw "no kext loaded" in graphics section in System Information. Then I tried replacing kexts from 10.8.5, Sys Info said kexts loaded but I checked System.log and saw a lot of "No matching context for device (0x7fb0b3109800) - disabling OpenGL" Maybe they are not compatible. What chameleon version are you using?
  5. Hi DawTaylor, I have l502x and I'm installing Mavericks GM. I cannot make QE/CI works. There is always error saying: "SNB framebuffer not show up...". I used DSDT from lx02x package and removed all graphics kexts except for AppleIntelHD3000*/AppleIntelHDGraphics*/AppleIntelSNB* Chameleon is 2248. booting with -f -v or using cache is the same. I used that installation method for ML and it worked fine. What I missed here? Please check for me. Thank you very much. Luong.
  6. Hi Doix, Can you help me to insert NVIDIA OFF into my DSDT. I attach my DSDT below. I tried editing but there are too many errors . I have to boot with -f in order to solve the artifact problem. But with your DSDT, mouse is moving really slow and jumping everywhere. Thank you in advance. EDIT: Hopes you haven't seen this request because I managed to insert NVIDIA OFF successfully. But now I'm stuck with FN key. I tried this code but it's not working. Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x02) { "AAPL,has-embedded-fn-keys", Buffer (0x04) { 0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } Would you mind pointing out what I missed? Maybe a reference variable somewhere else? Can you isolate the codes which make FN work from your DSDT? Thanks. DSDT.aml.zip
  7. My laptop is always at 56->60oC (idle or not). It is currently 10.7.3 with patched AICPUPM. BIOS is A06. I use 3TS-SSDT. I installed lion following exactly in the guide. I read somewhere that maybe FakeSMC is the culprit. My version is 3.1.0. Can someone tell what I missed?
  8. Hi MadL0n, I had my DSDT edited for Snow Leopard. Do I have to re-edit it for Lion? Thanks.
  9. Hi Madl0n, I have an XPS 15 Sandy Bridge, Optimus NVIDIA 525 & Intel HD 3000. Snow Leopard was fine with 10.6.8 (QE/CI with Intel HD 3000, Sound, Nework...). But in Lion, Intel HD 3000 is not working, though I thought Lion has built-in support for it. Do you know why and how to make this thing work? I already had my DSDT (got it from you of course ). Thanks.
  10. Hello rawbkk, Your system has 3D, which means it does not have optimus. Just patch a new DSDT (ask MaLd0n) and install like sybexs said and all should be fine. About the kernel in bridgehelper2.1, I think it is more stable than one in 10.6.8.
  11. Hi wen1, I got audio working with your kexts, stable, no distortion, but the quality is not good, sound like mono. I have to use BOOM. I don't know if AppleHDA kext affect the audio quality, and the IOAudioFamily kext as well. The driver at the following link has better quality (with AppleHDADisabler) but with background noise and sometimes it causes kernel panic. http://code.google.com/p/voodoohda/ Is your sound quality good?
  12. Anyway wen1, The key under the Esc key in my keyboard always spells § instead of ` Do you know why? And how to fix it? Thanks.
  13. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Thank you very much. I'll try these and post some results.
