  1. Is it possible to install Windows 7 from an external drive?

Oops sorry I was not aware of that! Thanks for your help
  2. Hi guys, Not sure if this is the right place to ask so apologies if it isn't. I want to install Windows 7 on my Mac. However, the SuperDrive in my Macbook Pro is very very flakey. If I put the Windows 7 disk into the drive while the Mac is booted up, it appears to read it fine and it appears on my desktop. However, when I run Bootcamp (the drive is partitioned) and my Mac restarts to commence the Windows installation, my Mac cannot read the disk and it ejects it. I have tried a few times and no joy. So my question is, is it possible to install Windows 7 using the disk image from an external drive? I know it is possible to do this when installing a Mac OS as I have had to do it in the past when my Mac would not read the Snow Leopard DVD. Thanks for any help you can provide
