  1. Hi, had anyone been able to slipstream some/all of the newer hardware drivers from the Lion installation to the Snow Leopard installation disk? Have a few mac to downgrade from Lion to SL. had some issues on joining AD... and everyone wanted spaces back... help appreciated.
  2. The above mention method... does not create a separate GUI Session. Rather, it uses the existing logged in user session FYI.
  3. I have the same problem with my 10.4.8 JAS SSE3, using a Thinkpad T41 2373-1FA (w/ 1GB Ram) Didn't have this issue with 10.4.5, .6, or .7. Seeking help~! Try booting up, F8, -v and post/link the error message. Sounds like Kernel panic to me.
  4. JaS.10.4.8.Intel.SSE3 Reports - laptop ONLY

I'd also like to know what's this 8.8.1 Kernel is about....
  5. yea, search wiki... or this forum... I've tried one before and got help from this forum to get it to work with ralink drivers...
  6. Just got me Buffalo AirStation PCMCIA WLI-CB-G54HP working... Not as straight forward as the Linksys thou. Click link to see how I got it to work http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...t=0#entry217210
  7. I've been searching this whole forum and found nothing on this particular wireless card, and I've been on wire for a while now since I've got OSX on my T41 (built in internet not working), so I've decided to do my own testing after getting my PC Card slot functional. I've found this ID of my AirStation card from the system profiler: pci14e4,4318 so what I did(by randomly picking one of the Airport kext): sudo nano /System/library/extensions/AppleAirPortBrcm4311.kext/contents/info.plist <type password> find the IONameMatch key and added the bold section below. Save, repair permission with diskutils, reboot and whualla~! my AirStation is now detected as Airport now and I'm posting this via wireless the first time on me hackintosh... so for those who have this wireless card and wish to get it working, give it a try. Won't say for sure if it works on yours, but do reply on your result. <key>Broadcom PCI</key> <dict> <key>APMonitorMode</key> <false/> <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key> <string>com.apple.driver.AppleAirPortBrcm4311</string> <key>IOClass</key> <string>AirPortPCI_MM/string> <key>IOMatchCategory</key> <string>IODefaultMatchCategory</string> <key>IONameMatch</key> <array> <string>pci14e4,4311</string> <string>pci14e4,4312</string> <string>pci14e4,4324</string> <string>pci14e4,4318</string> </array> <key>IOProviderClass</key> <string>IOPCIDevice</string> </dict>
