  3. Hello My OEM crappy USB keyboard not responding after sleep/wake The only way to get the crappy one working after sleep/wake is to unplug and replug the usb plug (ups... it it rhymes) however... if i use a microsoft one (from another computer) it wakes up just fine. any ideas to wake the crappy one? or should i throw it in the bin? cheers

  5. Part 4 – Adding the fixed 10.8 files to the USB drive Now, we need to modify some of the files on your USB drive so that it will properly bootup on your PC. Extract the contents of “ML_GM_OSx86_Files.zip” to your Mac OS X desktop. Copy the 2 .kext files to /System/Library/Extensions on your flash drive. Copy the OSInstall file to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Install.framework/Frameworks/OSInstall.framework/Versions/A/, overwriting the file that’s already there. Copy the OSInstall.mpkg file to /System/Installation/Packages/, overwriting the file that’s already there. Run the Chameleon installation package. Make sure to install this package to your flash drive, and customize the installation so that you have an SMBIOS that best relates to the CPU that’s on your computer (leave the default options checked; just check your SMBIOS). Copy mach_kernel from the root of the Mac OS X Install ESD volume and paste it into the root of your flash drive. Lastly, copy the Chameleon installation package to the root of your flash drive. You’ll need this in part 8. Done! start over and skip steps 3 and 4 completely it will work!
  6. Solved all my 6870 problems by reinstalling without removing any kexts using a SATA HD instead of a USB dongle, then, when you get stuck at the white screen with the mouse cursor, just press the power button to put the computer to sleep, and wake it back up. after that the apple installation screen magically pops up. it even works with dual monitor! after installation, if you get any app errors, like: mail, calendar, etc. Just instal the essentials.PKG from the main Mountain Lion .DMG For dualmonitor and to get your card identified correctly by ML (6870 instead of 6xxx) just go here: http://www.insanelym...howtopic=279100 download the edited 6000 kext for 10.8 final release and install it Don´t forget to thank TH3L4UGH1NGM4N for the excellent work ! use these lines in org.chameleon.Boot.plist: <key>AtiConfig</key> <string>Gibba</string> <key>AtiPorts</key> <string>4</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> * the # of AtiPorts depends on the type of card you have, (it can also be 5 if you have 5 connections instead of 4)
  7. 6870 issues

Before this modified kext my sapphire 6870 worked OOB, identifying as 6xxx with dual monitor support and full QE/CI, whoever, i had frame buffer issues with Adobe after effects CS6 crashing on start. Just with GraficsEnabler=Yes, ATIconfig=Dukweed and AtiPorts=4 it identified correctly in lion as 6870 and Adobe after effects CS6 would start, but only one of the 2 monitors worked. Same with Gibba and white screen with Bulrushes. Now it identifies as 6870, works with dual monitor and after effects CS6 starts correctly. (using GraphicsEnabler=Yes, ATIconfig=Gibba and AtiPorts=4) Going to test it further without GraphicsEnabler to see what happens Thanks TH3L4UGH1NGM4N
  8. Hi there fellow hackintoshers. Since 10.8 my Bluetooth dongle wont work after sleep / wake up. After wake up i have to remove the dongle and reinsert for it to work again. i don´t have this problem in Lion. Anyone knows a fix for this?

  10. Going mad - ATI Radeon HD 6870 - No wake up

New clean instal, newly patched dsdt, same sleep problem. Fans start, hdd starts, but the graphics card won't. managed to force GraphicsEnabler=yes using key>AtiConfig</key> <string>Duckweed</string> it makes no difference what so ever. whit or without GE=Yes, kexts are being loaded and i have QE/CI (51 frames on cinebench 11) com.apple.kext.ATISupport com.apple.kext.ATI6000Controller com.apple.ATIRadeonX3000 com.apple.kext.ATIFramebuffer this stupid thing just won't wake up properly.

  13. ATI 6870 Audio por HDMI e problemas no Sleep / Wake

    Sim estão todas carregadas e tenho aceleração gráfica ( 45 frames no cinebench 11) 64 2 0xffffff7f80b80000 0x17a000 0x17a000 com.apple.kext.ATISupport (6.3.4) <62 9 8 7 5 4 3 1> 65 0 0xffffff7f80cfa000 0x40000 0x40000 com.apple.kext.ATI6000Controller (6.3.4) <64 62 9 8 5 4 3 1> 89 0 0xffffff7f81033000 0x297000 0x297000 com.apple.ATIRadeonX3000 (7.1.8) <74 62 9 7 6 5 4 3 1> 97 0 0xffffff7f813a6000 0x14000 0x14000 com.apple.kext.ATIFramebuffer (6.3.4) <64 62 9 8 7 5 4 3 1> Não posso ter GraphicsEnabler=Yes ou levo com tela branca da morte no boot Será que é por não ter o GraphicsEnabler=Yes que o computador não acorda do sleep correctamente?
  14. ATI 6870 Audio por HDMI e problemas no Sleep / Wake

Como é que se faz para verificar se foram carregadas?
