I have sucessfully upgraded to Yosemite from Mavericks. Works great except I have no sound or wireless. This is on an Asus X53E laptop. lspci shows I have AR 9285 wireless card and Intel High Def audio. Can someone please give me some help?

Hello, I successfully install ML on my Asus X53E laptop. I get everything working. I have to boot from usb created via ###### meathod. I try and install Chameleon and when I boot to it no matter what flags I use I get kernel panic. It seems to be with AppleIntelCPUmanagement. Can someone please help me with this? Thanks

At the screen where it says f8 hit f8 then type -v and hit enter. This will boot into verbose mode

On a whim, I decided to install the 10.7.5 combo update and now I have a completely working system! Thanks for your help!

Can you please explIn QE/CI? I guess I dont understand. Installing the kexts isnt all that needs to be done? I really appreciate your knowledge in this. Thanks

I will work on getting one ok it seems the KP is no longer an issue however I am still unable to get a different resolution. Any ideas?

Yes. I installed all the kexts from the link first mentioned. Still cantseemto get any other resolution other than 1024x768. Any other help will be much appreciated. Thanks

ok I must be doing wrong. I tried arch=i386 at boot and same deal 1024x768

Tried that and got the kernel panic. Any other thoughts?

Hello! Machine didnt like the 10.7.5 update from apple. I finally was able to get the data back off the drive and start fresh. Now I am stuck at 1024x768 I have tried a NVDANV40HalG7xxx.kext but it kernel panics I removed all of the NVD* files to be safe so now I am at this stage and really coul use some help. OS = 10.7.2 - iATKOS_L2 Mother Board = Asus Maximus Formula - First Gen Video = GeForce 7300 SE / 7200 GS Please help! Thank you!!!

Didnt save my old kexts. I found one that may work however not sure how to accomplish this as I cant get into the GUI. Can anyone help me replacing kexts in Single User Mode?

ok I have installed 10.6 and everytime i try to get it past 10.6.1 the update installs but when I reboot I get nothing but a black screen! I have been trying for weeks now!!! I have searched all thru the forum and google and I cant seem to get it. My video card is pciE Evga 9800 Can someone PLEASE help me? Hello, I am running 10.6.1 from a WD 160 ide drive. I have a dvd rom connected as a slave. I have a maxtor ide drive that I would like to use for time machine. How do I add this to the other ide channel and have osx86 recognize the drive? Can this be done?

Hello, I have a compaq sr1901wm and installed a GeForce 8400 512 video card. Using the EFI studio I select that card and add it to the apple boot plist but now my machine is running exremely slow and the mouse is very very fast can someone please help me?
