  1. Installed Niresh's Yosemite Distro on a C2Q Q9550s. But the mach_kernel was missing. I could only boot using the USB key. Also after installing the Combo Update (10.10.5) it was not there. Copying /System/Library/Kernels/kernel to the system root (and renaming as "mach_kernel") did also not lead to an improvement though being suggested all over the web. Now I found your kernel file (took the unpatched one) and tried ... but the system reboots everytime instead of getting up. Now I tried your file and renamed it accordingly to mach_kernel. But it is still rebooting. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to replace /System/Library/Kernels/kernel as well? Cheers, Daniel.
  2. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hi! I have an ASUS P5GC (without MX). Would the Autopatcher work though not having a "MX"? :-/ CU, Mészi.
  3. This post is tagged with "P5GC". I am using that board. Any chance to get some patched DSDT.AML for it or would the P5GC-MX one work as well? I also checked the Autopatcher (http://www.insanelym...t-auto-patcher/) which obviously also does not have P5GC (without MX) in the compatibility list. :-/ CU, Mészi.
  4. DSDT Patcher

Oops, haven't yet checked the sound. I will connect it and test. BTW, the system doesn't forget the sound anymore since I used the DSDT patcher and put the dsdt.aml to "/". CU, Mészi.
  5. DSDT Patcher

Hi, a friend of mine has a PearC (commercial Hackintosh product) - it works perfectly. I have almost the same hardware (GA-X58A-UD5) but my Hackintosh machine forgets its CMOS/BIOS settings when restarting - his doesn't. I googled a bit around and found that I might need some "patched DSDT.aml" file. Is that "DSDT Patcher" tool able to do this for me? I got a bit lost in all the pages of this thread. Does anyone know a good manual to do this? Or could someone possibly offer the file to me if he has it already? CU, Mészi.
