  1. Can someone kindly confirm if gk110b / gtx780 cards work in any/all version of 10.10 ? There were 2 bugs, power management and opencl crash. Are both these issues fixed ?

    Chinese Macbook Air clone compatibility

    Does the touchpad allow for multitouch gestures ?
  3. Hi Aqua-mac Do you mind listing your mods to the SL kext ? I want to modify the kext for 10.7.5
  4. aquamac has enabled the esata ports on this mobo at least. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/177137-asus-p6t-workstation-pro-sas-controller/ I am going to try it out when I have time.
  5. Thats exactly right. Thanks!
  6. Am I missing something ? On my G5 cable, the ports for Firewire (3,4,5,7) are joined into a fat cable. The ports for USB (6,11,12) are also joined into a fat cable. I cut the G5 cable in my mobo exactly into half. How is this even possible ?' I stripped the USB cable to make sure. Definitely a join of cables 6,11,12

    [Guide] Getting XFX HD6850 connectors to work

    Hi VCH888 I am trying to get my Powercolor HD6870 working with your settings. For some reason, I think my system is ignoring the FraMebuffer settings.. This is VERY strange. I installed the modded kext using Kext Wizard and rebooted. bdmesg shows it recognized but then >> Using PCI-Root-UID value: 1 ATI Framebuffer Addr: @0xC0000000 MMIO Addr: @0xF9FC0000 I/O Port Addr: @0x0000A000 ROM Addr: @0xF9FA0000 ATI card POSTed, reading Video BIOS from legacy space Framebuffer set to: Gibba using AtiConfig=Gibba Number of ports set to: 5 using framebuffer's default. HD 6870 DVI Connectors SOLVED

    This is VERY strange. I used VCH888's settings for the Powercolor 6870. HD 6870 DVI Connectors SOLVED

    Hi @FishCow Could you post your modified ATIController kext ? I am on 10.7.5 with Powercolor 6870 and it always gets recognize as 6xxx. Hence the framebuffers are screwed..
  10. Any chance that this may work on a dell mini 9 or 10v to enable speedstep on 10.6.8 ? Its the only thing I do not have working yet..
  11. Ive been trying to get native PM workign on a Dell mini 9 N270 on 10.6.8 as NBI does not support it.. Just wondering if anyone managed to get this via native ApplePM ? This is what I have so far under Scope (_PR) Processor (CPU0, 0x00, 0x00001010, 0x06){ Name (_PPC, 0x00) Name (_PCT, Package (0x02) { ResourceTemplate () { Register (FFixedHW, // PERF_CTL 0x10, // Bit Width 0x00, // Bit Offset 0x0000000000000199, // Address ,) }, ResourceTemplate () { Register (FFixedHW, // PERF_STATUS 0x10, // Bit Width 0x00, // Bit Offset 0x0000000000000198, // Address ,) } }) Name (_PSS, Package (0x04) { Package (0x06)// P-State 0 { 1596, // f in MHz 2000, // P in mW 10, // Transition latency in us 10, // Bus Master latency in us 0x00000C20, // value written to PERF_CTL; fid=12, vid=32 0x00000C20 // value of PERF_STATE after successful transition; fid=12, vid=32 }, Package (0x06)// P-State 1 { 1330, // f in MHz 1500, // P in mW 10, // Transition latency in us 10, // Bus Master latency in us 0x00000A1A, // value written to PERF_CTL; fid=10, vid=26 0x00000A1A // value of PERF_STATE after successful transition; fid=10, vid=26 }, Package (0x06)// P-State 2 { 1064, // f in MHz 1000, // P in mW 10, // Transition latency in us 10, // Bus Master latency in us 0x00000812, // value written to PERF_CTL; fid=8, vid=18 0x00000812 // value of PERF_STATE after successful transition; fid=8, vid=18 }, Package (0x06)// P-State 3 { 798, // f in MHz 600, // P in mW 10, // Transition latency in us 10, // Bus Master latency in us 0x0000060A, // value written to PERF_CTL; fid=6, vid=10 0x0000060A // value of PERF_STATE after successful transition; fid=6, vid=10 }, }) }
  12. I have everything working on P6T7 in Lion 10.7.4 except Audio and SAS. I used ###### 1.4 and ###### 5.6.1 There is a special AppleACPI rollback for x58 mobos. The gfx cards are automatically detected. There is a third party RTL installer in ######. USB works straight out of the install. I used the DSDT and SSDT files using Aida64 I recompiled them with DSDT editor - latest version from May 2012. I used DropSSDT=yes in org.chameleon.boot.plist GeneratePStates=No GenerateCStates=No Can someone post the audio fix for AD2000b ? Also, I understand that RAID support is not there in OSx, but is there a way to make the marvel 88se6320 sas work simply as legacy SATA ? I really want to use the extra ports.
  13. Hi! I hit the 1.6GHz limit on my i7-970 on a Asus P6T7 I read through this thread and used Revogirls script from here. http://revogirl.wordpress.com/2012/04/23/aboutp-state-stepper-error-18-at-step/ I used sudo ./ssdtPRGen.sh 130 3460 For 130W TDP and 3.46 GHz max Turbo freq. Now I have ssdt-pr.dsl I also have ssdt.aml ssdt-1.aml ssdt-2.aml from Aida64 This is where I am stuck. What do I do now ? what goes where ? I have attached these files. ssdt-i7-970.zip
  14. I installed ACPIPlatform 1.5 and it works fine. I am trying to get a GTX 560 to work, hence I need to patch the dsdt.aml I extracted using Aida64 from Windows. What patches did you apply to this dsdt ? I can only boot if there is no dsdt selected..
  15. I have a P6T7 WS and need to patch my DSDT. Any idea what patches in DSDTSE to apply ? I get stuck at the IOAPIC with any dsdt - including the one from here. With 10.7.4, I also installed the nvidia web drivers and now get a black screen.. I used the AppleACPIPlatform kext to avoid problems after the 10.7.4 install.
