Now I'm using only the Mavericks, because my battery ends the lifetime. However I'm having an issue that don't happened on ML: My 1340 have a Brazilian Keyboard ABNT2 and I used a layout that worked ok. But now, this same layout works, but the last line of keys don't works perfectly, killing the Keys "Alt GR" and "/". Some solution for this issue?

Hello everybody. Yesterday, I needed to reinstall the system, and so, I did the update until the 10.8.3, without install the 10.8.4. The sleep after close the lid and the battery icon works successfully. The only issue is the sleep when activacted from Finder, what returns without work the Trackpad.

So that's! I'm using 10.8.4. I did the update from 10.8 directly to 10.8.4.

So far, no solution to the battery icon?

After some attempts, I finally managed to install the Mountain Lion on my 1340. The only issues, as was to be expected, is the icon battery and the sleep. But my battery is on the final lifetime and this functionality does not make me miss. So, I resolved to test part this installation guide to install the Mavericks Developer Preview. For my surprise, works perfectly like the Mountain Lion. The inicial setup I do with myHack and the post install, using the step-by-step of post #1. The icon battery and sleep still not running! Thanks for the help of everyone who contributed to this topic. And sorry for poor english!

Works 100% After eight months, i finally find the solution for the ethernet network card of my Acer D250 netbook. Thanks for the excellent work! PS: I'm from Brazil, and my english is just poor! Sorry for the bad language!
