  1. Hi All, I created a Pandora USB installer to install Mavericks on my gigabyte Z77-HD4 board. I have an i7-2600 cpu and AMD Radeon 6870 card. I have the F1 bios which is the only version other than a beta bios that exists I have disabled vt-d, and most other options in bios When I get to the the boot loader and hit enter, It starts to load and then about 5-10 seconds into it, It reboots the system and I'm back to the boot loader. I attached a screen shot of the last thing that appears on the screen before the screen goes black and reboots. for the pandora installer I chose: option 3 (new, usb 3.0 driver, no video drivers in usb) iMac 12,2 10.9.3 with pandora system option 4 (all kext fixes) thanks for the advice
  2. Hi All, I have created the ML boot usb, and trying to install Mountain lion. I have disconnected my lion and Windows drives, and only attached a new SSD for mountain lion. I extracted my DSDT from windows 7, and patched it for my board P6T Deluxe v1, and audio AD2000B. I placed that in the usb Extra folder. BIOS settings: Config SATA as AHCI CPU Config: A20M Disabled. All others enabled Onboard Devices: HD Audio enabled, Front panel type: HD Audio, LAN1 enabled, others disabled Power: Suspend Mode [s3 Only], Repost Video on S3 Resume: [Yes] APM Config: Restore on AC Power Loss: [Last State], others disabled The system halts when I get to: Ethernet [AppleYukon2]: Link up on en0, 100-Megabit, Full-duplex, Symmetric flow-control, Debug [796d,6f48,0de1,0200,45e1,4000] Please see screenshot. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/90309756/photo-7.JPG Thank you for any help
  3. Apple G5 Front Panel Connector Layout

I'm looking to find a Power Mac G5 (late 2004, A1093) Service manual. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Can anyone help? Ouch's link doesn't work anymore. thanks very much. I'm trying to hook up the front panel Power button, USB, and headphone jack. I don't know what pin numbers are which on the pinout. If the case is upright, and I'm looking at the socket vertically, the top left pin is what? top right? bottom left, bottom right? Thanks so much.
  4. Thanks, but I'm not sure you read through my post. I know what the new UUID is. the problem is that the restored system is trying to boot from the previous logical drive's UUID. I'm not sure where else I can change this to point to the new UUID, instead of the old one. I've already added the new UUID to /Extra/ org.chameleon.Boot.plist
  5. [sOLVED] I solved this problem by reinstalling the Chameleon binaries to each RAID slice, and by placing a copy of the /Extra folder (with the new UUID) into the Boot OS X partition of each RAID Slice. I screwed up my Hackintosh after attempting to upgrade from 10.7.2 to 10.7.3. So I decided to boot from an installation USB drive, and then restore via a time machine backup. This process wipes out the existing RAID 0 drive, and restores over it. When this happened, the UUID for the RAID logical drive changes. When i attempt to boot from the freshly restored backup, It stops at this message: Rooting via boot-uuid from /chosen: xxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxx-xxx-xxx(the old UUID) I thought the answer was to simply change the UUID in org.chameleon.Boot.plist to the new logical drive's UUID. I did this, and it didn't fix it. the boot screen still tries to point to the old UUID. Does anyone know where else I can look to change the UUID? Thank you.
  6. Does anyone know how to solve a bootcache control problem? I've been running in RAID 0 with no problems, and since updating from 10.7.2 to 10.7.3 I get this flag when it boots: BootCacheControl : Unable to open /var/db/BootCache.playlist followed by repeated "invalid sandbox profile for PID"
  7. the problem seems to be that is cannot find the bootcache.playlist. I'm getting BootCacheControl: Unable to open /var/db/BootCache.playlist I have tried the following: -installing the bootcache.kext and sandbox.kext from a working 10.7.2 (did not work) -booting from a backup image, and repairing permissions on the raid volume with Kext Wizard -attempting this bootcachecontrol -f /var/db/bootcache.playlist generate /dev/rdisk0s3 but i get an error saying it cannot find the UUID -in terminal, single user, "chmod -N -R /Volumes" -in disk utility (of the backup image) I tried to verify and repair permissions on the Raid volume, but when i click each button, nothing happens, no progress or anything. anyone with other ideas? thank you
  8. Thank you for the suggestion, Fienx. I tried this, but when i restarted, I get the same errors. I've also tried restoring the Sandbox.kext from 10.7.2, and bootcache.kext. with no luck.
  9. hello all, I just updated from 10.7.2 to 10.7.3 via combo update. Upon restart I cannot boot, and I'm getting this message: Invalid sandbox profile for pid 16 (invalid regex) The message repeats every few seconds, counting up 1 by one forever... see the attached image for clarification. I am running in RAID 0 and haven't had this error before in previous updates. thanks for any ideas.
  10. Confused about RAID

Hi Nissefar, I currently have 10.7.2 working on Raid 0. I need to fix iCloud and FaceTime since I'm running Chamleon r1278. How do you update Chameleon on Raid 0? is it the same manual process of copying files to both stripes? Does Chameleon wizard work with Raid 0 systems? What version of Chameleon are you running? thank you very much.
  11. Fabio, ti ringrazio. Ho capito il problema. Avevo bisogno di cambiare "Grafica Enabler" No, dal sì. Poi ho avviato nessun problema. GRAZIE.
  12. Thank you. removing DSDT.aml from USB/ Extra did not work. It still hangs in the same spot. what i did: -setup using Base v1.5 folder -chose option 2: P6T Deluxe v1 mobo -in setup chose: Mac Pro 4,1 -chose no to cuda (i use ATI video card) BIOS settings All default except: AHCI enabled C-state enabled Marvell LAN 2 disabled SAS storage disabled Repost video YES restore power LAST STATE I have had 10.6.7 running perfect. I then updated to 10.6.8 and got the audio problems, and can only boot in Safe mode. I'm running software RAID 0. I'm trying to Install a fresh copy of Lion on the RAID volume. I will then restore files and Apps from Time Machine. (I don't believe RAID is the problem, because I get the same problem with only one drive attached. )
  13. thank you, i do not believe so. i updated bios to 2101. that didn't help. please see the picture for screenshot of where it hangs. i booted in Verbose.
  15. Hi, I also have not been able to get the Lion installer to boot. After booting from Chameleon, it goes to the grey Apple screen, and the gear proceeds to spin forever. the USB install drive does the slow light flashing as if its sleeping. I'm curious how others with P6T Deluxe V1 got it to work. thanks.
