The thing is i was not Mounting them sometimes the script did it as my sidebar had a few EFI directories. My sig has all that my HD's has so that may explain HFS, FAT etc.As noted i had to do things a little different to get clover to work with my X58. 2017-03-05-17:54:38 Found ESP on disk0s1 with /Volumes/ESP-01/EFI/CLOVER 2017-03-05-17:54:38 Found ESP on disk1s1 without a Clover directory -- skipping 2017-03-05-17:54:38 Found ESP on disk2s1 without a Clover directory -- skipping 2017-03-05-17:54:38 Found ESP on disk4s1 without a Clover directory -- skipping 2017-03-05-17:54:38 Found ESP on disk5s1**** disk5s1 Get mount point failed 2017-03-05-17:54:39 No change in /Volumes/ESP-01/nvram.plist script.txt.zip

    File is attached again script.txt.zip

I should note that this is on my X58 system in which i remove the BOOT Folder that clover creates on the ESP in order for my older HD's which uses chameleon to show up at the boot screen.Just incase that could be a problem....Bless PS:thanks for your help and sorry for polluting the thread a bit..... script.txt.zip

After a couple of tries it still creates .metadata_never_index at the root of my HD. 2017-03-04-20:21:29 Found ESP on disk0s1 with /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER 2017-03-04-20:21:29 Found ESP on disk1s1**** disk1s1 Get mount point failed 2017-03-04-20:21:30 Found ESP on disk2s1**** disk2s1 Get mount point failed 2017-03-04-20:21:30 Found ESP on disk4s1**** disk4s1 Get mount point failed 2017-03-04-20:21:30 Found ESP on disk5s1**** disk5s1 Get mount point failed 2017-03-04-20:21:30 Disabling indexing on /Volumes/EFI 2017-03-04-20:21:30 Values changed, updated /Volumes/EFI/nvram.plist I re did everything from scratch and figured out that the ESP needed to be mounted Before running the script.Without it being mounted i got this 2017-03-04-20:10:11 Found ESP on disk0s1**** disk0s1 Get mount point failed 2017-03-04-20:10:12 Found ESP on disk1s1**** disk1s1 Get mount point failed 2017-03-04-20:10:12 Found ESP on disk3s1**** disk3s1 Get mount point failed 2017-03-04-20:10:12 Found ESP on disk4s1**** disk4s1 Get mount point failed 2017-03-04-20:10:12 Found ESP on disk5s1**** disk5s1 Get mount point failed 2017-03-04-20:10:13 Disabling indexing on 2017-03-04-20:10:13 Values changed, updated /nvram.plist

@tluck Followed your instructions, it installs ok but .metadata_never_index keeps coming back.I noticed that it's also on the ESP as well.Further more a file called LibraryLaunchDaemons get created after running the terminal commands in the root of my HD and it's not hidden.....Bless
  9. Clover General discussion

Tried it but the nvram.plist is still at the root.Below is the terminal output.I have selected rc scripts via the installer so not sure why terminal says no file etc..... cp: root/etc/rc.clover.lib: No such file or directory cp: root/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.projectosx.clover.daemon.plist: No such file or directory logout

After trying r4035 .metadata_never_index keeps getting created in the root of my system drive causing spotlight to be, well broken to a certain degree.Running mdutil -E via terminal results in Indexing and searching disabled. Going back to 4012 resolves it, can someone shed some light as to why that file is created? Also a little bit off but i've noticed that 2 nvram.plist gets created, one on my EFI and one on my root.I tried checking the pref of clover to Never save nvram to disk but it still gets created...

Tried r3994 on my X58 system but it killed Audio.Nothing showed up in system prefs but was present system report/audio.Tried rebuilding caches etc but had to roll back to 3974...
  12. Guys i know the first page says the latest pre built in the downloads section is for 10.11 and up but is there anyone using it in Yosemite 10.10.5 ?

Not sure if it's an error on my part but i tried 3716 and once i reach the GUI both my Wireless & Wired keyboard does not work so i have to force restart and go into my Chameleon HD to rollback Clover.Prior to 3716 before i reached the GUI i would see b1f:initL but with 3716 i see b1f:init7. This is on my X58 system. Can someone shed some light.Just incase it matters my EFI Only has the Apple & Clover directory since having the BOOT directory resulted in my other HD's not showing up as described in the thread below....... http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306275-clover-gui-os-s-hd-detection-issue/
  14. Thanks for your reply.Well first off i have the Voltage manually set an thus the voltage goes between 0.96v - 0.98v cause my 930 runs stable at this.I'm guessing since i don't use DVID in the bios is why i only get 2 states? which i don't really mind.I don't know how to set the Offset +/- so that the voltage never goes below 0.96v and above 1.00v.If anyone can help with this that will be great.Oddly enough i made a test HD with a clean 10.10 and 10.11 and i do get the 2 states of 1.6ghz/2.93ghz so it seems it's either a process that is constantly running causing it to stay @ 2.93 or summ just is corrupted.Guess i'll have to do a fresh install and one by one install apps to see.......Bless
  15. Greets to all Since making the switch to clover i can't seem to get speedstep to work in Yosemite as it should or at least how it worked with chameleon in 10.6 - 10.9.In the bios i have everything set manually and the cpu goes from 1.6Ghz - 2.93 Ghz but with clover in Yosemite it's stuck at 2.93Ghz.Oddly enough i made a test HD with El Capitan and it does throttle down to 1.6 - 2.93 so I'm guessing summ is corrupted in Yosemite or i'm missing sum in the clover config but i can't seem to figure it out so any help is much appreciated.I have tried a few different setting but no success.... 1. <key>DropOem</key> <false/> <key>Generate</key> <dict> <key>CStates</key> <true/> <key>PStates</key> <true/> With DropOem set to false the cpu stays @ 2.93Ghz 2. <key>DropOem</key> <true/> <key>Generate</key> <dict> <key>CStates</key> <true/> <key>PStates</key> <true/> With the DropOem set to true the cpu stays @ 2.79Ghz Both have <key>DropTables</key> <array> <dict> <key>Signature</key> <string>DMAR</string> </dict> <dict> <key>Signature</key> <string>SSDT</string> <key>TableId</key> <string>Cpu0Ist</string> </dict> <dict> <key>Signature</key> <string>SSDT</string> <key>TableId</key> <string>CpuPm</string> </dict> I have read that it should be either or but not Both so i have gone back to DropOem>false with the DropTables.I will attach my DSDT and config file for those willing to take a look to see if maybe sum is messed up with my DSDT.......Bless config(X58A-UD5:930:4870).plist.zip DSDT(X58A-UD5:930:4870).aml.zip
