Seek for an advice to buy a new netbook!

Hi, I've been looking for the same thing for a long time but all I found is the HP Mini 311, its only problem is the WiFi card not OS X compatible so you have to get another one and hack the bios black list so it's accepted is not that hard and you'll get a nice OS X netbook only problem is its processor which is not supported by OS X as all atom based computer so you've got to patch your kernel but here's the info. http://www.amazon.com/HP-311-1000NR-11-6-I...k/dp/B002ONCBVC http://myhpmini.com/guides/hp-mini-311/ http://www.myhpmini.com/forum/how-install-...11-a-t2969.html Good luck with that

  3. Hey guys, I've been using a Dell Mini 10v running OS X Snow Leopard, even with a couple of troubles it has been a really great experience, so I decided to move on and go a bit deeper inside hackintoshing. I had to leave USA and move to Mexico City a couple of years ago because of my father's job, ergo is pretty hard to find parts, we don't have online stores like Newegg.com so we can't find some specific parts over here. I don't want to make a really powerful system but good enough to play WoW and do some 3D stuff as well as running Adobe's suite. And I'd also like to be able to use WiFi and Bluetooth so I can use Apple's external trackpad or Magic Mouse. I would also like a really not expensive and supported system, I don't want a lot of troubles at updating and messing with kexts though I understand I'll have to do it and I'm exited about but, well again, I'm not used to hackintosh. So here is a starting system: Mother Board Asus P7P55D-E Pro Processor Core i3-540 Hard Drive 1TB SATA 7200rpm RAM 4GB 1333 MHz DVD Drive SATA And I still have no idea for the video card, I don't know pretty much about them and OSX86 wiki is not really updated or clear enough to my basic knowledge and I either have a clue for the wireless card I'd appreciate a lot some help from you. Of course any modification to better support will be greatly appreciated. Regards, Colin

  7. Hello everybody, well I'm planing to build my very own and first hackintosh, I've used real macs all my life but now I'm a student and can't pay for the real one, I need some help to decide wich hardware is the best for me to buy to install 10.6 from ratail if possible, I don't pretty much time to look up in the forum because of my heavy studying, so if someone could help I would really appreciate, I'd like if possible some 4GB of ram a nice Core 2 Duo processor (around 2 or 3GHz) and a nice nVidia or ATI graphic card so if someone could make a little list to me with a few options I would really appreciate it. Please answer quickly I really need I'm studying animation
