  1. So far I've a booting LION 10.7.2 and functional Virt Machine in Vbox under linux (headless). Works great, but I've issues with my mouse pointer. Downgraded IOUSBFamily.kext to 10.7.0 but without succes. NIC/Audio is also for the moment not working but that can be resolved as soon as my mouse is100% functional Any ideas anybody ?
  2. I'm running ClearOS 5.2 and VirtualBox. Everything is Headless (Connect via RDP for session). I'm running an OSX Lion machine which runs great except 2 annoying things: - Screen resolution (Not that bad) - Mouse pointer integration (I've two mouse trailers in my screen and only 1 works) Like in Windows I have two mouse pointers (the original from the Windows Computer running the RDP session & the OSX Lion pointer (which acts approx on the Windows Mouse input/movements). In windows this is easily resolved by installing the Guest Additions, which does not exist for OSX. Reading the internet I don't have any X11 server in use. It doesn't matter which type of hardware I use in the windows client, the issue remains. How to resolve this mouse issue ?
  3. Anybody any idea if it will succeed if we use the same MB but running Vbox on a linux host ? Would be nice. I don't have any intentions to spend 3 weeks again to get everything up and running (although it was a VERY interesting). That's why I ask 1st
  4. I'm stuck....................................... See my HW list below. Just upgraded my BIOS to this version, hoping it would solve my boot problem. It feels like these samsung hard disks are imcompatible... Spend DAYS on fora to find out why this is a problem, but no luck I'm constantly stuck with Boot0 errors, where everybody used whatever tool and successfully installed SL. Weird thing is..... I've SL running on a similar Samsung model, but I want to start all over.... Anyone familiar with similar problems and what was the solution ? Kind regards P.S I don't have any other problems with installing once it boots from the Hard drive
  5. Boot issue EX58-UD5.....

    Updated overview
  6. Let start with the HW summary Gigabyte EX58-UD5, 6GB, HD3870, 2 x samsung HD154UI (1.4 TB SATA), 1 x seagate ST 340823A (40GB), IDE DVD writer, non USB KB and Mouse Kalyway 10.5.2. is booting stable from 40GB Seagate. An additional Samsung will be the future boot disk and is available in this system during installation. Everything is going fine during the installation and looks succesful. Used latest script (4.22) to install everything and checked Bios settings with this forum.... But I still end up with BOOT0:GPT BOOT0: HFS+ BOOT:BOOTING BOOT0:NONE (Samsung Partition is marked active, and is the bootable disk). Question: Can someone exactly describe how to partition the new harddisk with GUID, how many partitions (I want 1 big disk) there should be created (none, 1 or 2). admins-mac-pro:~ myhobby$ diskutil list/dev/disk0 #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: FDisk_partition_scheme *1.4 Ti disk0 1: Windows_NTFS System Reserved 100.0 Mi disk0s1 2: Windows_NTFS 1.4 Ti disk0s2/dev/disk1 #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: GUID_partition_scheme *1.4 Ti disk1 1: EFI 200.0 Mi disk1s1 2: Apple_HFS MyApple 1.4 Ti disk1s2 /dev/disk2 #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: FDisk_partition_scheme *37.3 Gi disk2 1: Apple_HFS Kalyway Leopard 37.3 Gi disk2s1 /dev/disk3 #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: OSX10.6SL *7.2 Gi disk3 Any help is VERY welcome and appreciated.....
