1. Asus K52JR trackpad not working

It's not a big deal. I can use external USB mouse, it would just be nice to have it working, in case the mouse breaks, or I forget to pack it. I used this method to do my installation. Supposedly it contains the exact kexts for this laptop, but still no trackpad working. Other owners have said they have gotten theirs to work, but not me. http://www.osx86.net...asus-k52jr.html After more research, I can see that there is not yet a kext for version 2 hardware, but he is accepting beta testers. Guess I will have to wait for the release... I get error upon boot -v that says my hardware is version 2 (0x040102) elan firmware version 262402
2. Asus K52JR trackpad not working

Yes, I can see that the myhack.kext has an applePS2controller.kext in it's contents. I repaired permissions and the Elan driver attempted to load but said my hardware was version 2, and beta 4 would not work, I am going to try to find that kext now Version 2 didn't work either. It says my hardware is not supported.
3. Asus K52JR trackpad not working

I deleted any ps2controller kext I could find, then isntalled the Elan kexts, but the trackpad is still not working. Is my DSDT calling for some kext thats making the system refuse any other?
4. Asus K52JR trackpad not working

I have tried loading both sets of kexts, but when I load the Synaptics ones, it boots with no USB mouse, trackpad, or keyboard functions, I have even tried using the Synaptics prepreference pane for the trackpad settings and the com.meklort.ps2.helper.plist. When I install the ones for Elantec, I get errors that say the kexts are being refused. See the photo...Is there something I have to delete before installing these?
5. Asus K52JR trackpad not working

I have everything working on my Asus K52JR laptop (i3, ATI 5470) except the LAN, and the trackpad. I have read many online articles, and downloaded kexts that were supposed to enable it, but nothing has worked so far. Anyone get this working?
6. Screen Shaking On External Monitor

Yes, only when the mouse is positioned on the right side, in a certain area of the screen. I have triple boot, Win7, Lion, Mountain Lion, but it only does it in OSX. I have tried different resolutions, and refresh rates, but same thing. I will have to borrow someone's monitor and cable to test what you have suggested, as I don't own any extras.
7. I've got this weird screen shaking using my external monitor, but not on my laptop's screen. When I position my mouse on the right side of my external monitor, I get this weird shaking effect on the screen. My specs are: Intel GMA X3100: Chipset Model: GMA X3100 Type: GPU Bus: Built-In VRAM (Total): 144 MB Vendor: Intel (0x8086) Device ID: 0x2a42 Revision ID: 0x0007 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1366 x 768 Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Mirror: On Mirror Status: Mirroring Online: Yes Built-In: Yes SMS19A100: Resolution: 1366 x 768 @ 60 Hz Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Display Serial Number: HMAC501998 Main Display: Yes Mirror: On Mirror Status: Master Mirror Online: Yes I am using Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and the laptop is a Gigabyte q1105m using VGA output to a Samsung SyncMaster sa100 monitor. I am using an Intel GMA 4500 FB2A42 kext, as it's the actual graphics card inside the laptop, even though System Report lists it incorrectly. Is there something I can modify to stop the shaking? Here is a link to how the screen shakes when the mouse in in a specific position: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpLpgKbpGUU
8. Mountain Lion on ULV SU 4100 and GMA 4500?

9. Mountain Lion on ULV SU 4100 and GMA 4500?

Audio is working now and no problems with FaceTime, iCloud, App Store, Messages, and webcam is working too. Too bad no one wants to support this old video card, as it's in many laptops out there. I found one kext that enables better resolution, but still no qe/ci.
10. Mountain Lion on ULV SU 4100 and GMA 4500?

well, I got it up and running. Everything works, except for no qe/cl and no audio. It was a bios setting that I had disabled that was the problem. Screen resolution isn't great but works. Now I have to get audio working. I am wondering if I have to wait for an updated ######, or can just install the kext manually? If i remember right, it was some sort of rollback I used on Lion?
11. My gigabyte q1105m netbook is running Lion 10.7.3 with no issues, except no qe/cl. Can I install Mountain Lion on it? It has a pentium ulv su 4100 processor, that reports as core 2 duo, and a GMA 4500 that shows up as a Gmax 3100 in Lion. I have tried the myHack USB install using many boot flags but it just reboots after initial kexts load.
12. AppleUSBCDC: start initDevice failed

I fixed mine by running ##### and selecting IOUSBFAMILY rollback and system utilities.
