  1. 10.6.2 and GA-P35-DS3L 2.0 - reboots constantly

Well, I've confirmed this issue, at least on my hardware. Replaced my Celeron 420 with an E2200 and my 10.6.2 install booted right up. I guess Conroe-L celerons and 10.6.2 don't mix. Ken
  2. 10.6.2 and GA-P35-DS3L 2.0 - reboots constantly

There was a vague posting on the forums here that Conroe-L Celerons are not supported on the 10.6.2 vanilla install. Can someone else confirm this? Ken
  3. I am having the hardest time getting my ga-p35-ds3l 2.0 to work with 10.6.2. I can install 10.6 from the retail DVD using Empire EFI and run it all day. Using the dsdts in this thread I got audio working. I can't for the life of me get a successful upgrade to 10.6.2. After installation, the computer keeps rebooting just as Chameleon times out and goes to the MyHack splash screen. I know about the SleepEnabler problem and have tried both deleting the kext altogether and updating to the 10.6.2 version, rebuilding the kext cache in /Extra in both cases, but nothing seems to make a difference. The stupid thing never gets past the Chameleon screen. Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated. Ken
  4. I am having serious issues installing the 10.6.2 update on my GA-P35-DS3L. I used Empire EFI to install from the retail SL DVD and installed MyHack installer 1.0 RC 4.1 to get a booting install. I had sound working with a patched DSDT and graphics (NVIDIA 9400GT) working using the graphicsenabler option in com.apple.boot.plist. I'm using the PC-EFI 10.4.1 boot file as well because the CPU autodetection works for me in that one but not PC-EFI 10.5. I have a Conroe-L Celeron 420 (single core Conroe) that is identified by SL as a Core 2 Solo as expected. Everything works smooth up until I attempt the 10.6.2 SL update. I have tried both removing the SleepEnabler kext and installing the 10.6.2 patched one, but no matter what I do my computer reboots constantly just as the myhack splash screen loads. I've tried installing the update through the system updates in SL and by downloading and installing the combo updater with no difference in the result. Any suggestions as to what might be the issue? I've messed up my install several times trying to fix this issue without luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ken
