  1. Any luck with this? I have the same issue. At first I thought it was nvidia kexts until I tried pressing shut down button. The screen appeared all of a sudden. Now to start the system I have to repeat with this sorcery.
  2. Oh, my. How could I forget... http://narod.ru/disk/15451080000/Yukon88E8056-10.6.zip.html

    Asus P5E DSDT fixes

Unfortunately, that dsdt didn't work for me, the system doesn't boot. I guess I'll have to edit those parameters manually.

    Asus P5E DSDT fixes

Wow! Thank you! Do you know how to implement my Nvidia 8800GTS 512 Mb to dsdt.aml?
  5. I've managed to fix the network! Address to this topic http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=199606
  6. I fixed it!!! 88E8056 works now!!! A miracle kext did it for me. I don't know who made this kext however. So, here's my solution: 1) Remove (and backup if you want) all YukonInjectors or Yukon kexts from Extra/Extensions and System/Library/Extensions/ folders; 2) Put IONetworkingFamily.kext in System/Library/Extensions/ folder, replacing the old one (it is better to backup and remove the old one beforehand); 3) Fix permissions by starting Kext Utility; 4) Restart.
  7. I'd rather go back to 10.5 then... Till Snow Leopard cooperates. Still, I believe there's someone out there who might know a solution.
  8. What if this doesn't help? http://www.infinitemac.com/f57/how-to-snow.../post29505.html One more thing, I have Ethernet option in Default Configuration, but I can't add an ethernet card when I select "+". There's only Firewire, PPP, etc.
  9. After a week of trial & error I managed to install Snow Leopard 10.6 with Chameleon RC3 and get it running. Except the network. I followed different guides and tried using different kexts to no avail. All in all, I get Ethernet (en0) <-> Cable Unplugged. Things I've already tried: 1) Different AppleLegacyYukon2.kexts and YukonInjectors.kexts. I used Kext Utility after I've copied them to Extras/Extensions. 2) Manually editing *Yukon2.kext in IONetworkingFamily.kext (following tutorials which can be found here) 3) Turning off the ethernet and turning it back on. My hardware is written below. Help! I need somebody...
  10. Didn't work for me either The only thing that doesn't work for me now on 10.6 is Marvell Yukon 88E8056 Ethernet controller. I have Ethernet (en0) Cable Unplugged. Tried everything abovementioned. I wonder if I have any conflict within kexts.
