  1. My G5 Case Mod to my Hack with SL 10.6.2

Yes the extra power cables do create a mess. I have 1 SATA 320, 1 PATA 320, 1 PATA 200, 1 PATA 160. I started with the 160 in 2005 and just keep buying a new drive each year. I added the 320 SATA and the SATA adapters when I went to the new MB in October to do this SL build. That cables comment is the one eye sore I hear about. Thanks
  2. I tried to make this my own look using what parts I had already on hand. Did use some help from here with the wiring of the back G5 fans that I relocated to the front of my case. Here is a look at it... http://mysmallfrypage.blogspot.com/2009/12/in-beginning.html Cool thing is it is dual mode OSX 10.6.2 and Win 7. The Hack is built off the Lifehacker specs, except different CPU, and Video card. Take a look... If you click on the photos they zoom up for detail.
  3. TabletMagic for TabletPCs

Thanks this helped me to get it working on my Motion Computing Tablet LE1700. It took a bit of reading but got it running great. Sam My 10.5.2 that I use on my Motion Computing LE1700 I have on an external USB HDD. I plugged it into a J3400 just to see what would happen. I had to calibrate the digitizer due to the wider screen but it worked perfect. Was putting SL on the J3400 very hard? Sam
  4. On my main Hackintosh Pro (Lifehacker version) I run 10.6.2 all features working. On my Motion Computing LE1700 Tablet PC (MFG by Compal) I have 10.5.2 running with serial WACOM digitizer working. Still want to get the IDT sound card working, the battery meter, finger print reader... ANyone else doing this on a Motion Tablet. Mine is the Core 2 Duo 1.5 GHZ with 4 GB of memory, 80GB HDD. I had to do the video change to intel after install, then I loaded Tablet Magic for the WACOM digitizer.
  5. I recently built my Hack using the Lifehacker outline to use SL 10.6.2. Then a hack / mod a G5 case to run it in. http://mysmallfrypage.blogspot.com/2009/12/in-beginning.html Next: My current project is running Kalyway 10.5.2 on my Motion Computing Tablet PC and it works... Still have a few tweaks to do on it.
