1. Hi! I have an i7 Ivy Bridge PC desktop that obviously came with the HD4000 GPU. I work with 3D, so I got a GT430 to help, it's not an AWESOME GPU, but it is a lot faster. Ok. Then obviously I use the Geforce output, and I had to delete the HD4000 kexts to boot properly with QE/CI. If I dont do this, my hackintosh tries to boot with the HD4000, and since it does not have any monitor attached, it wont work. So I thought about using the HD4000 output and try to use the performance of the GT430 just like in the real Macs. Real macs use the HD4000 GPU nativetely, and if the computer needs graphic performance, it switches automatically to the Geforce. Is there a way to this work in hackintosh?
2. Thanks, but I solved this! Now what is killing me is the sleep that takes up to 2 minutes to wake up! =(
3. Niresh's Mountain Lion 10.8.2

There is an onboard GPU? Turn it off completely in BIOS. If even turned off nothing happened, I suggest you to follow this http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280756-guide-the-all-in-one-guide-to-vanilla-os-x-including-chameleon-dsdt-for-beginners/ I used ##### and after following this guide I realized this patches to Hackintosh does not worth it. Good luck!
4. Ok, I will use the USB for a while, I don't have PS2 mouses. About the Ethernet, I can't find out what to do!
5. Hi everybody! I recently installed the Retail ML installation. My PCI GPU and CPU Power Management are working with no problems. Now it's time to go on: -Ethernet: I have an onboard Realtek RTL8139/810x - tried some kexts and nothing. I'm connecting via Ralink Wireless USB, its ok, but I can't sign in in Mac App Store, iMessages and Facetime. I thought maybe the migration assistant would sign for me, and the only thing I could sign in was iCloud (well, at least something good), but its all. SOLVED: en0 error - NetworkInterfaces error -Audio: It's a VIA VT1705. I tried VoodooHDA 2.7.2 and nothing either. Removed. SOLVED: VoodooHDA 2.8.4 -My sleep does not work properly. I mean, it sleeps fast, like a charm. But waking up takes 1 minute or 2. -Also, I have a USB chinese cheap Bluetooth. Not recognized, but in the first boot, it was recognized! Thanks for any help!
6. SOLVED I booted in windows and I repaired HD4000 was still turned on. So I disabled all its features in BIOS and here we go! I could not boot without safe mode because IntelHD4000 kexts was loading and for sure led to a KP Now the GeForce is 100% working!

EDIT: I guess it's good to explain this in the official guide for those who has HDxxxx + PCI GPU
8. Hi! Installing the NVidiadrivers from the package led me to the same frozen error than booting without safe mode. What can be going on?
9. Hi! Help me, this is a big headache! Q1 - There's no difference between VGA or DVI (until now. I will change) Q2 - With graphics enabler I get the resolution and the device is recognized, but no QE/CI, and every graphic thing seems very slow. Q3 - When I try to install it, it says "This computer will not support this NVIDIA graphics solution." I would try these steps, but I don't have two screens =( I have posted more things in the new topic: http://www.insanelym...e/#entry1932906
10. Hi folks! I have installed the retail ML in my Hackintosh (following the InsanelyMac guide! Thank you!) and w/ the strings, my GPU was successfully recognized. But I'm just able to boot in safe mode, with no QE/CI but full resolution. The GeForce was recognized via strings! But why the hell I'm only able to boot in safe mode? And I don't remember exactly, but I had a Mac, and I'm almost sure that QE/CI loads in safe mode... https://www.dropbox....13 16 24 04.jpg this is when I boot in safe mode, just before the login screen https://www.dropbox....13 16 36 22.jpg this is when i boot in normal mode. The screen freezes here Also, I have edited AppleGraphicsPowerManagement kext. I went to my smbios name string, and edited to the GT430 device & vendor ID. When I boot this way (in safe mode), I get a beautiful screen turned off, so I rolled back to the default AppleGraphicsPowerManagement So I took off the GPU and used HD4000 to see the difference. The graphics works resolution and it's recognised with no QE/CI (just like the Geforce, no acceleration because I'm using VGA I guess - with the Geforce I can use DVI or VGA) but BOOTS IN NORMAL MODE, since I'm using VGA and have do edit some stuff. So I have 2 big problems: no QE/CI and no normal mode - this GeForce won't let me boot in normal mode!!! Another thing is that I NEED to use the GeForce, and a lot of people can get it working in hackintosh, it's not fear lol! I work with 3D modelling (I know, a need a bigger screen) in Windows and its huge the difference, since the onboard shares my memory. Here is my recognized GeForce https://www.dropbox.com/s/2qcespqkqtvrcyi/Screen%20Shot%202013-07-17%20at%206.03.44%20PM.png And here is my recognized HD4000 https://www.dropbox.com/s/0nz176bd3dkxl5r/Screen%20Shot%202013-07-17%20at%206.46.15%20PM.png EDIT: Also, I noticed that the verbose mode w/ the HD4000 loads with full resolution. The GeForce verbose stays at 1024x768. I don't know if this changes something. Thank you for the help! My specs: AsRock DTA-H61 Motherboard i7 3770 - 3.4 up to 3.9Ghz The onboard Intel HD4000 NVidia Geforce GT 430 1GB RAM 4GBRAM DDR3 750GB HDD

I will edit this post and add some photos, just a minute https://www.dropbox.com/sh/6gzzvc8yh3vtm4n/CKttAf1Y0V/Foto%2017-07-13%2016%2024%2004.jpg this is when I boot in safe mode, just before the login screen https://www.dropbox.com/sh/6gzzvc8yh3vtm4n/qloI_wwA96#f:Foto%2017-07-13%2016%2036%2022.jpg this is when i boot in normal mode. Since it's a Graphics problem, I opened this topic, with some new things that happened: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/290627-geforce-gt-430-no-qeci-and-wont-let-me-boot-in-normal-mode/?do=findComment&comment=1932906
12. THANK YOUUUUUU I was able to get the full resolution automatically, but no video acceleration (I don't know if this is because I'm running safe mode). But I'm still stuck in safe mode! What can it be? Happens the same error. Thank you again!
13. Ok, I will follow this tutorial as soon as I can. I also have read the reason why InsanelyMac does not support them, and I tottaly agree. But there's no way you can help me? I think it's not that hard to get this Geforce working, I'm just not getting it EDIT: Excelent tutorial, really! I will give a look soon! Thank you!
14. Hi everybody I'm using ##### to install my Mountain Lion 10.8.0 hackintosh. My PC have the following specs: AzRock DTA-H61 Motherboard i7 3770 - 3.4 up to 3.9Ghz The onboard Intel HD4000 (I'm not using, since GeForce430 is a lot better - I work with 3D modeling and its visible the difference) NVidia GeForce GT430 (Mymax) 1GB RAM 4GBRAM 750GB HDD So the problem is: after installing, my OSX just boots in safe mode otherwise it crashes. This has something to do with graphics. When I used the HD4000 VGA output, it loaded, although the onboard GPU was not even recognized, and did not matter what I do. Stopped looking for solutions with the HD4000 when I did read that the VGA HD4000 won't work in a hackintosh. So I got this GeForce with a friend. And I see the difference in performance, so I will stay with this. When I boot with -v, it loads everything but freezes, the screen stuck. When I boot with -v and -x, it loads everything and I can go on with OS X - with the 1024x768 resolution Following this (http://www.osx86.net/view/2915-10.8_nvidia_geforce_gt_430_fully_working_...html) nothing changes, except that the GPU is recognized by system monitor (before, it was just a NVidia graphics 3MB, something like that), but I'm still stuck in the 1024x768 resolution. So I tried to add strings. PCIRootUID must be 0 (following the terminal command), and GraphicsEnabler does not matter, there is no difference. If I install this GeForce correctly, it will boot up without safe mode, is this the issue? Also I'm not getting the GPU to work, its disturbing Thanks for the help, and sorry for the bad english!
15. PS/2 Controllers make sound fails!
