1. Hi guys, I'm using rayap's (thanks!) one-liner from post #340 to binpatch AppleRTC. In the ever quest for vanilla, just got another crazy idea... How about recalculating the checksum in the DSDT (either in _PTS or _GTS) ? What do you think ?
2. ant.one, Are you using a DSDT ? This doesn't seem related to my kext...
3. Realtek 8168/8111 solution

Almost... It's currently in Pre-Alpha (not in the 0.0.67 beta...) Should be released soon... Follow me on Twitter / Subscribe to my Blog to get the word when done.

##### does nothing with the DSDT... Did you copy it manually to /Extra ? If not, you should be using UserDSDT in #####. Meaning NIC is OK, and recognized by the RTL81xx kext (which the latest ##### versions use). Please post in http://www.tonymacx86.com/ for follow-up. Thanks, Lnx2Mac
5. Realtek 8168/8111 solution

Thanks ! Actually, the recommended place for it is in /S/L/E, as it depends on IONetworkingFamily... Note also that last week I released a new installer package for it, which takes care of conflicting kexts (if any), and rebuilding caches... So, it avoids the most common errors I found some users had. Its version number is 0.0.67+ as it also solves a small incompatibility for users of RTL8169 cards. Thanks again !

Bam Rock, Thanks for your kind words
7. Realtek 8168/8111 solution

http://bit.ly/RTL81xx Basically, grab & unpack the zip file, choose Debug/Release and put it on your desktop. Run #####. Reboot. You are done
8. Realtek 8168/8111 solution

The RTL81xx driver works on the 8111C... However note that Apple never supported AMD CPUs or chipsets...
9. Realtek 8168/8111 solution

Not at this time... The 8167 is part of the 8169 family, whereas my driver targets the 8168... Sorry.
10. Realtek 8168/8111 solution

1) Without knowing your specs there's not much I can do... 2) Please report the problem in: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewforum.php?f=64

PPreMiuMM, Care to describe your rig ? Have you rebuilt caches ? Also, make sure to remove the following (if found), and rebuild caches after that: /Extra/IONetworkingFamily.kext /Extra/RealtekR1000.kext /Extra/RealtekR1000SL.kext /System/Library/Extensions/RealtekR1000.kext /System/Library/Extensions/RealtekR1000SL.kext /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/RealtekR1000.kext /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/RealtekR1000SL.kext If you still have problems with this, please report them in: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewforum.php?f=64 Good Luck ! Same purpose. No. With #####, you'd just drop the kexts on your Desktop and execute #####.
13. Realtek 8168/8111 solution

Weird... How did you install it ? Was it behaving well before that ? ##### is just an installer developed by the guys at the tonymacx86 forum, that all it does is copy the kexts on your desktop to S/L/E and rebuild kext caches. You won't find it installed anywhere. If you have problems to report, please head to: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewforum.php?f=64 Thanks,
