  1. It would be good to have the possibility of putting the device to sleep. However, if it is not feasible then I could also do without.
  2. Hey guys, I would like to build a hackintosh which is then primarily used as a home server. It should be ready for the following tasks - Play my music with Spotify - Provide a wireless backup solution - Run Mac OS X Lion - Work as a wireless router The question is now, which hardware would you recommend to buy? As I am a student, the cheaper the better
  3. Hey guys, I've installed Lion on my Macbook, and now I have a weird bug/feature. Please have a look at the attached images. The issue is the following: In all my folders I have the normal bars and can sort by name ascending or descending, which looks like this: However, in my "Pictures" folder the bars look like this: The problem with the second bars is, that I can't sort ascending/descending. If I click on them nothing happens. When I create a new folder, it has the correct bars, but I can't just recreate the Pictures folder as it is a system folder and cannot be deleted. Anyone else having this problems or even knows a solution? Best, Cabo

  7. Hello, I used the guide described here: http://aserebln.blogspot.com/ to create my own USB stick to boot retail SnowLeopard suited to the laptops hardware. I created my very own DSDT and everything, but everytime I try to boot from the stick I got a kernel panic. Please have a look at the attached pictures. My hardware is: Intel Core2Duo 4096 DDR2 RAM Nvidia 9400M G Barebone Asus mainboard MBR Partitioning (OSInstall.mpkg and OSInstall replaced) Strange is, when I use the ready build Empire EFI ISO burned to a CD, I can boot without problems. So my laptop seems to be able to run macosx, but of course I want to use my own DSDT etc. It would be really great if someone could explain what I have to do with the USB stick to boot from it. I have access to Windows, Ubuntu and a running SnowLeopard. Thanks, Cabocorso
