Still hearing nothing.... do I have to disable any additional Audio .kexts? I messed with them a lot.... :-) I drag the Dump on HDA patcher, and install the .kext with kext helper. Then reboot.... boot-132 loads..... os x loads (using "-v -x" as boot params) but then... no sound. Using 10.6.0 with boot-132 on Dell Inspiron 1525 Thx in advance WinDoof
Hi everyone! I've been running OSX SL for several days on my Dell Inspiron 1525. Thx for the great tutorials here :-) but i have 2 problems: 1) I hear nothing from my speakers. iTunes refuses any sound output (bar is constantly at 0:00 time) and i already installed VoodooHDA.kext and azalia.kext. 2) I cannot mount any non-HFS+ media. This is bad 'cause my whole system backup (from Win7) is stored on 4 USB sticks. And a friend has some cool software... on a FAT32 Volume. :-( The Console gave me the tip that the error is at msdosfs.kext. Has anyone a hint for me?? Thx in advance, WinDoof
Hi everyone, first: thanks! Thx to you, I'm writing this from my HackBook Pro (Dell Inspiron 1525) :-D A friend recently gave me his Dell Latitude D800 (2003, 1.3GHz Pentium M, 1GB RAM, NVidia GeForce 4??? Go) and asked me if I could install SL on it, too. I now have 3 boot-132 CDs, and none of them worked, neither with a 10.5.1 Retail nor a 10.6.0 Retail. Has anyone an idea how to get SL (preferred) or Leo up&running? I only use boot-132 cause I dislike iPC, iDeneb and how theyre all called (mainly because my DL rate is 50kb/s :-P) thx in advance, WinDoof
