  1. ok i got the Mac OS X 10.6 installed correctly onto the my Dell Insprion e1505. this is what the detail i have about the ATI GPU in systeam profiler: ------------------------------------------------- Unknown: Chipset Model: Unknown Type: GPU Bus: PCIe Slot: Slot-1 PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM(Total): 128 MB Vendor: ATI(0x1002) Device ID: 0x7145 Revision ID: 0x0000 ROM Revision: 113-B7710C-176 EFI Driver Version: 01.00.318 Displays: 15.4/WXGA Display: Resolution: 1024x768 Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARG88888) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Display Connector: ------------------------------------------------------ this is all of it... the probleam is that i dont have Res change in display. and my Screen can support up to 1280x800... but i cant get that.. do i have to fix something in the DSDT.dst file if so than what? is ther a working x1400 kext that i can use instead of using the x1000 kext? well if you can help me plz do i tried afew thing but i had no luck.. what i tried: setting the Device(RTC) lengths to = 2.. but they keep coming back to the original value from the DSDT.dst. editing the com.apple.boot.plist in both the system configurtions and the /HDD/extras/ that was installed from myHack bootloader. <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1280x800x32</string> but no luck thier too. any ideas?
  2. HELP! installing mac os x 10.5.6 on Compaq SR2150NX

    try formating the HDD to a HFS format. get access to a mac and format the Drive to "Mac OS X Jornilist" or what eveer the actally type is. format and put it back into the case and try the instal agian. i think i might be late but this i belived wil work cause that is what i did with my when i got this error!! you message mean the installer is having a hard time looking for you hdd and since you harddrive is not format to apple specs it is therefore it cant find it . hope this works.. i had the same problem on a intel atom D945gclf.
