    Good luck, our AMD Guru!
  2. AnVAL (ACPI Loader)

    Only one line is blue.
  3. AnVAL (ACPI Loader)

    valv, rewrite your installation guide please. There are "strange" lines in it. I got - mount_hfs: resource is busy on this command - mount_hfs /dev/diskXs1 /Volumes/EFI diskXs1 is already mounted on /. It has to be remounted? but how? and the next line is also unclear. What not to write? the whole line is in blue. If i skip it, the the next command like "p" doesn't make any sense". If I have legacy_kernel file I have to copy it instead of mach_kernel? thnx.
  4. AnVAL (ACPI Loader)

    valv It is realy necessary to install this boot file on mac partition or I should just copy it? If I am using patched DSDT for sound there are any kind of problems with "compatibility" with your boot file? I ask you, cauze I tryied to just copy the boot file to mac partition and I always get a KP.
  5. AMD and Retail Snow Leopard 10.6.5 --> 10.6.8 Final[GUIDE]

    Thnx, but I want more than just "cosmetic" correction. In the System profiler the memory bus speed is detected as 400 MHz. Just want to know why. The mic is working on your setup? How did you fix the sound issues, if you had any?
  6. AMD and Retail Snow Leopard 10.6.5 --> 10.6.8 Final[GUIDE]

    Thnx for the tip! It solved my issue. But I have a strange feeling that something is wrong with this 10.6.6 update :-). There is a lot of disk activity after I login to desktop. Do you have any idea why my memory is displayed as DDR2 400 istead of DDR2 800 Mhz? This happened when I replaced the original "boot" file with one that supports of my videocard.
  7. AMD and Retail Snow Leopard 10.6.5 --> 10.6.8 Final[GUIDE]

    Updated my 10.6.5 installation to 10.6.6 and now I cannot launch any of previously installed applications. How to solve this issue?
  8. [Tutorial] AMD 10.6.8 Retail Snow Leopard Guide!

    sirbow2 How did you compile the DSDT.dsl file? I tried to compile dsdt file from first post and received 40 errors. Like - dsdt.dsl 6643: LNKC, Error 4068 - ^ Object is not accessible from this scope (LNKC) How to fix these errors?
  9. AMD and Retail Snow Leopard 10.6.5 --> 10.6.8 Final[GUIDE]

    If you have an empty HDD, then allocate partitions using mac HDD utility. use Nawcom ModCD instead.
  10. AMD and Retail Snow Leopard 10.6.5 --> 10.6.8 Final[GUIDE]

    I was not able to reach Mac installation screen with BootCD. Nawcom CD is a very good alternative for my hardware. You can use a partition. Using entire HDD is not necessary.
  11. AMD and Retail Snow Leopard 10.6.5 --> 10.6.8 Final[GUIDE]

    Try to switch to SATA2, and use Nawcom ModCD.
  12. AMD and Retail Snow Leopard 10.6.5 --> 10.6.8 Final[GUIDE]

    Here are my results :-) I think that CL/QE on my Sapphire HD4670 GDDR4 is working too. At least the menu bar is transparent :-)
