  1. Hi there! Just downloaded iTunes 7, it rocks but it doesn't support LAN-listening if the listener doesn't use iTunes 7 as well. That means that ourTunes is completely disabled as well. Anyone got an idea? Best regards, Andy
  2. Leopard Extensions. Do someone need?

Hey, I'd like to have them! Please PM me the link! Best regards, Andy
  3. Time Machine Scares Me :(

My Backups.backupdb file on the external HD is only about 10 Gigs in size, but I made a complete backup from my HD that holds more than 90 Gigs of files. This is strange, can't be true, can't be a good sign or am I wrong? How big are your Time Machine backups? I'd be very glad to read a detailed article on how Time Machine is working, how you can restore your files in case of a major -maybe hardware-crash of your hd... Anyone has any information? Best regards, Andy
  4. Non-Working Software ?

Proteus (or ICQ, any other ICQ client I tried) doesn't work for me. Anyone else had Problems with those apps? Anyone got a solution? iCal and Garageband are behaving strange in a similar way. iCal shows events (mainly those that take part for longer that a day) in the next month as well and Garageband screws up Audiotracks. Logic Express doesn't work at all... Anyone solved some of the problems? Please help!
  5. BSD Script

Okay I got it running after those BSD Subscript install problems. I restored the .img to a completely erased and partitiones disk and installed from there. That worked for me. It seems that the disk needs to be empty, cuz I tried to restore it to a disk with other files on it before and that didn't work (hung on BSD subscript stuff). So if you got those issues try to find a completely empty hd/partition, that might make a difference! Best regards, Andy
  6. Leopard Installation Method

Hey guys, I have this problem that the installer hangs on the BSD subsystem install script. I opened the Install-Package with Pacifist and tried to install it to my external HD. It worked but I got at least 10 errors - all concerning the BSD subsystem. There seem to are files missing in my version of Leopard!! So anyways I managed to install and had to make the disk bootable with carboncopycloner but when I tried to start from it, the kernelpanic screen showed up. So my question is: Are there 2 versions of the torrent file floating around and do I have to redownload it? My torrent file was named: The_Big_Cat.3511949.TPB.torrent And the installed folder was: APPLE.MAC.OSX.LEOPARD.V10.5.WWDC.PREVIEW-BETAOSX I also checked the "BSD" install-package with Pacifist and it showed up that a lot of files were missing. Can anyone please do the same check and tell me what it said? Just open Pacifist and open the Apple install package. Afterwards select the BSD package under Essentials -> essentials group. Then click on Analyze! Please help me, I'm very keen on trying Leopard! Thanks for any reply! Andy

  8. BSD Script

Hi! Same here, gets stuck while installing the BSD subsystem. And I restored the image to an external drive. Does the drive/partition has to be erased completely before i restore the image to it? Anyone who had the same problem and managed to solve it PLEASE reply.... Best regards! Andy
