  4. I've resolved shutdown hangup looking at: ###### If you use FakeSMC plugins, and get a kernel panic after reboot. Boot into safe mode by typing -x at the boot screen. Then navigate to /System/Library/Extensions/FakeSMC.kext/Contents/Plugins/ and delete OEMsmbios.kext. Then reboot. I've deleted OEMsmbios.kext inside FakeSMC in script kext repository, because rebuilding kext and boot cache via DD script was reinstalled every time. Now 10.8.3 work like a charm!
  5. Hi guys, thanks to some holiday time i've upgraded my hackintosh to ML 10.8.2, with a new GTX 560 Ti card (my old GTS 250 was really obsolete!) Thanks to DD for his wonderful work and for all advices i've found on this forum. It's all working very well, i've spent some time for a [PCI configuration begin ] hang at startup, resolved adding a npci=0x3000 to Kernel Flag. Only a last trouble to make it perfect: at shutdown the Pc remain ON, does not power off completely. I need to hold the power button for 4 sec. Someone has seen and resolved this issue ? And ... some advice to improve my hw configuration ? Thanks ! 10. Hi all, anyone has installed 10.6.2 succesfully on this hw ? I've insanely started a combo update (not systemUpdate, downloaded the 500 MB pack and installed), and KP ! (what emotion, my first ! "... CPU id does not match ..." ) So, i've started a new install and TimeMachine restore ... and i am coming back to 10.6. Thereafter i read some post and 10.6.2 upgrade seem not so simple. Any advice ?
  11. Many Thanks DD !! I'm writing to you from my new Hackintosh build, just connected to Internet via Huawei E220 HSDPA key. Some little troubles yet (audio, net...), but i'm very happy to see OsX started working on my hw.
  12. Hi phoenixflame611, it's my first post on this forum ... i'm just trying to install OsX SL on my new Hackintosh. I've found this post .. hope can help mee too ... i've the same card ! Also for anybody with GTS 250 card trying to use dual monitor: - NVkush kext works the best. (NVinject will also work well, but with reduced functions - w/o mirroring or rotating in case you have multiple monitors ). I also tried EFI string, but I was not able to get the second monitor up - though it might be because of some mistake on my part too.
