  1. I just want to give anyone interested a heads up regarding the Supermicro X8DTL-i dual Xeon board. I FINALLY got it to work after two weeks of hell. The showstopper was dsdt. Basically, the board won't boot OSX if more than 1 core was enabled in the BIOS, even after patching the dsdt with the usual tool (fossl's). To make it work, I had to manually edit dsdt'dsl, remove all lines containing a CPU alias, then compile it to dsdt.aml. I am using Chameleon 2.0RC3, and my Extra folder contains: - the patched dsdt.aml - Disabler.kext - fakesmc.kext To get the network to work, I used this guide, which is for a similar ASUS board: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;mode=threaded Hope it helps someone!
