I installed iAtkos v5i (10.5.5.) on my laptop w/ success but of course the pcmcia slot doesn't work out of the box! I had installed IOPCCardFamily & IOPCIFamily kext's as supplied by the 1st post here and rebooted my computer. By booting directly into 10.5.5. I get the kernel panic. By booting under "-f, -v, -s", it freezes when loading the IOPCCard and I get the "Still waiting for root device" error. I do notice that though my wireless PCMCIA card does light up, as it didn't before. Anyone know if I'm missing a step or if the kext's supplied in this thread even work w/ 10.5.5.? Any help would be highly appreciated - as I feel like I'm getting close to having 10.5.5 Leo working just fine!
