  1. Install Mac OS X on Asus G1Sn

I installed kalyway and found out that all the right-click and drop-down menus are blank. Because of this issue I was not able to test some of the hardware. So I tried reinstalling selecting some different kexts, but none of them worked. Any ideas on this? The Kalyway install looked more promising than the iDeneb install as it had sound through the speakers. After reinstalling Kalyway several times, I tried installed iDeneb and surprisingly it worked, well mostly. I currently only have sound through my headphones, the E-SATA port doesnt work, wireless doesnt work (and prolly never will unless custom drivers are made), a few keyboard keys are mapped wrong (not a big deal, just making note of it), and none of the quick keys or hot keys, whatever you want to call them, work (also not a big deal). It runs surprisingly well even though it is not running on a true Mac computer. My last attempt to run Mac in a virtual machine, some 3-5 years ago, resulted in such a slow machine that it was almost impossible to do anything. Thanks to all who have helped me thus far. 2. Install Mac OS X on Asus G1Sn

Ok so I found out that the bios needs to be replaced with a modified version. The modified bios found on the G1S wiki will work, but I found a modified version 202 of the G1Sn bios here. Using this bios I was able to boot and install using the kalyway dvd. Although I have not yet made a fully successful install, it is just because I am still working on using the right customizations. 3. Install Mac OS X on Asus G1Sn

Thanks for the quick replies Das_Human and pocketlint. Sorry for the delay, but I had to dedicate almost all of my time for a while to my classes as I started to fall behind a bit. @pocketlint: Its good to see that someone with the same laptop has already successfully done this. How does it run, pretty smooth? Do I leave the default customizations or do I need to add or remove any besides the nvinject? I will be trying this tonight so I will let everyone know soon how everything goes for me. Another Crazy Guy
  4. I have an Asus G1Sn-B1 laptop that I would like to install Mac OS X 10.5 or 10.6 on. I have looked all over for a tutorial on how to install on a G1Sn series laptop with no luck, but I have found many tutorials for the G1S series which doesn't work for the G1Sn. Has anyone else succeeded on installing Mac on this model? Specs: T9300 Core2Duo @ 2.5GHz with SSE1, 2, 3, 4.1, EM64T, and MMX 4 GB of DDR2 RAM GeForce 9500M GS (code named G84) with 512MB memory Intel PM965 Chipset Intel 82801HBM (ICH8-ME) Southbridge Integrated Intel® High Definition Audio chip (Azalia) Realtek RTL8168B/8111B PCI-E Gigabit ethernet Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN Built-in Bluetooth™ V2.0+EDR I have tried using iDeneb v1.4 and v1.5.1, but they both end up the same way in the end. The install goes successfully everytime and I can even boot up to the Chameleon boot loader and select the Mac OS to boot from. After selecting OS it starts to boot, but just stops at the Apple logo and if I boot using verbose it stops at the line "Using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers". It will sit this way for hours. Anyone have any ideas or know what is going on here? I am in the process of getting a copy of Snow Leopard 10.6 to try for the fun of it. Any help is much appreciated.
