  1. Update everything is working fine now.
  2. Ok update I was finally able to get it to boot up, the only way I can get it to boot up is to use, -v GraphicsEnabler=No, and the system is showing Nvida 650ti 2gigs Now what do I need to do to get it to boot up with out having to use -v GraphicsEnabler=No
  3. I try that and the same thing it will go as far last login screen, just when you type your user name and pw, and just lock up. My question is how to I delete my old Nvidia 8800 kext, and install a new<Nvidia 650ti> Kexts, when I can not boot up.
  4. Well I try both and either one would not work. I got close to the login using GraphicsEnabler=n before it locked up. -x mode same thing black screen
  5. Hello I install mountain lion on my Asus P5 mother board and everything was working fine using a Nvidia 8800 video card, my video card went bad, and I replaced it with a Nvidia 650ti with 2 gigs of ram, now when I boot up mountain lion it will try to boot and just before I get to the login screen it goes black.. What do I need to do in order to get mountain lion to accept my new video card (Nvidia 650ti)?
  6. Do this go to your bios and make sure your hard drive is set to AHIC reboot you should see it then.
  7. Asus P5Q

Hello I have an Asus PQ5 MT installed and everything is working ok, except for my sound 5.1, I have the sound working but it is showing 4 difference line outs? each one plays a different speaker. I have tried using a few kexts, but none work for the 5.1 or digital sound, on the mother board in has a Realtek audio using ALC 1200_1056 kext, can anyone help me?
  8. Lion GM Facetime error

  9. Lion GM Facetime error

Here is a simply plain english way to fix the problem: I found to fix the problem, first click on the app store and see if apple will let you download a free app? If you can't try this trick open your com.apple.Boot.plist and manually edit add this line to it <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> Next go to your system Preference and delete your ethernet connection and reboot, once you have rebooted your computer go back and add a new ethernet connection you should be able to buy from off the apps store and use facetime.
  10. 64/32 bit

How can I tell if I am running on 64 or 32 bit version of lion if I click on activity monitor it shows all my programs at 64 bit, but if I go to terminal mode and type in uname -a it shows I-386 meaning 32 bit? I have using a desk top computer with a Asus PQ5 motherboard with 8 gigs of ram
  11. boot plist not found

Hello this is my problem I installed 10.5.6 on my Asus P5K-SE and it worked perfect until I try to upgrade to 10.5.7 upon doing that I got the waiting for device root error. I try to fix that but I could never get it to boot. So I re-formated the hard drive sata drive 500 gigs and try to reload 10.5.6 it comes up "boot plist not found." I have reloaded formated try every kernel there was but still the same thing, I try using a different hard drive, I burn a different dvd, I reformat at lease 10 times, I try unpluging my dvd's that was in the IDE, after installation.. This has got me.. I install it perfect doing the same thingthe first time, but now I just get the "com.apple boot plist error I even reflash my bios and just default setting. My set up is as following 4 sata drives 2 dvd's IDE 4 quad which i use cpus=1 on installation 4 gigs of memory and a nVidia GForce 8800 GT 768 my bios is 901 in which I use the first time and it worked fine. If anyone know how to fit this please let me know THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY... Thanks in advance for any help
