  1. I flashed my BIOS with the latest 1617-modified BIOS from http://biosrepo.wordpress.com/asus/z77/. This allowed me to install 10.8.0 without any issues. With help from Rampage Dev, I got a working DSDT for the rest of the system functions to work fine. Before I installed the Extras Folder (that included the DSDT, org.chameleon.boot.plist and SMBios.plst) the sleep function worked due to the modded BIOS. However now that those files are installed the system will no longer sleep. What in these 3 files would cause that? Can I remove that part of the file to fix the sleep but not damage the rest of the fixed problems? Also as a note.. My system used to show that it was an iMac 12,1 but Rampage Dev changed the SMBios to show it as a Mac Pro 3,1. Could this affect the sleep function? Attached are the files that I installed if you want a look. Any direction would be great. Extra.zip

    SPDIF Out on ADI 1988b

Ive got everything working on my Asus Rampage Formula and have my NVidia GTX260 fully working. When I hook it up to my tv using HDMI and try hooking the onboard SPDIF Out to the stereo reciever, all i get is a high pitched whine. Ive looked around and have seen some people saying the SPDIF for the Analog Device cards not working with Leopard, is this true? My card is the ADI 1988b, with onboard SPDIF Out (Optical/Coaxial). Does anyone know how to fix this? Or if it works fine with snow leopard?
  5. So im trying to run OS X on my system. I have the Rampage Formula, and all the boot-132.iso's i have tried on the website dont work, the only boot iso that has worked it the boot-kabyl-bumby.iso (dont remember where i got it). It gets me to the bootloader screen, in which case i hit esc, eject cd and put in mac os x v10.5.1 retail, wait for green light to go off, then hit enter. it brings me back to the bootloader page. im still looking and going onto my 3rd hour of searching. any ideas? Semi-Official Intel DP35DP board thread

I had this same problem and couldnt get your boot-132.iso to work, i did get the boot-kabyl-bumby.iso to work, but after i hit esc and then insert the mac os x dvd, and hit enter, it goes back to the bootloader screen. This is with a full retail mac os x 10.5.1 version of Leopard. Why would it not be working and what might i do to fix it?
