Darn.. Trying to install 10.15.5 Beta 2, but installer boot volume doesn't show in clover!  I'm able to download beta2 using developer profile, after I click install, it reboots, but upon rebooting, no option for macos install ... Using clover 5112, iMac17,1.  Any ideas?

10.15.5 Beta (19F62f) installed ok with the hardware in my Signature, can you perhaps try the initial download again?

  3. Hi @Pene the build I used is "Clover r5111 (SHA: fbc970b44)"

The icon used to look like this when using "Image = Recovery" in the Catalina theme by Badruzeus...

    Thanks again, stay safe.

  4. Happy Easter folks, hope you are all staying safe!

Using "buildme, Clover r5111 (SHA: c572e50ec)" some of the Icons now display ok, just the Recovery one shows as Catalina and also the custom names for the partitions are not being shown. Also still have the border at the bottom.

  5. Using "buildme, Clover r5110 (SHA: 84f956714)" I get the following with the great Catalina theme (My monitor is 1920x1200).

I have also tried "Optimise" from Clover.app but still looks the same.

  6. The one I am using is...

    buildme, Clover v2.5k r5109 (SHA: 43bf62431)

    Just testing...

    buildme, Clover v2.5k r5109 (SHA: fc567c71c)

    No change.

  7. I popped in to report the odd looking UI when booting with r5109 even after optimising the theme with the app but it looks like you already knew!

  8. I'm no expert at all but recall reading this in the guide...

    Quote
    • RequestBootVarRouting: YES
      • Redirects AptioMemeoryFix from EFI_GLOBAL_VARIABLE_GUID to OC\_VENDOR\_VARIABLE\_GUID. Needed for when firmware tries to delete boot entries and is recommended to be enabled on all systems for correct update installation, Startup Disk control panel functioning, etc.

no the hd4600 is on the 4790k its a desktop igpu and its not working it's an issue with the framebuffer which i am hunting down now the mobile variant is {censored} not something i care about

I thought it was the desktop IGPU but as mine is way older (Also a desktop IGPU) thought it was odd it had stopped working, sounds like its an issue with that specific hardware as you mentioned, hope you get it sorted!

  10. Will do thanks, having trouble with the AIO Cooler on this setup at the moment (One warm pipe one cold), I suspect the pump has done its time (7 years!).

Once I get it replaced will report back.

  11. 5104 wouldn't open here either but 5103 from the first page of this thread does.

I had to use the "xattr -rc" command to get 5104 to run.

Most applications create files in other places on the os, preferences, caches etc , not just in the Applications folder, where the main app resides. I meant that, sometimes, to replace an app, those need to be deleted first, not just the main app. I was thinking that, due to the fact that there was a broken version, there may be broken preferences files somewhere else on the else, for example.

Just try it, if it works winner!

  13. Thanks for everyones input with the Audio issue I had with r5102!

Turns out it was driver error as I let Clover.app update my files and of course my edit that I need to apply (Uncomment "ReplaceName(dsdt + BrdADR, BridgeSize, device_name[9], "ARPT");") wasn't included in that!

    Happy New Year everyone!
