  1. I'm no expert at all but recall reading this in the guide...

    • RequestBootVarRouting: YES
      • Redirects AptioMemeoryFix from EFI_GLOBAL_VARIABLE_GUID to OC\_VENDOR\_VARIABLE\_GUID. Needed for when firmware tries to delete boot entries and is recommended to be enabled on all systems for correct update installation, Startup Disk control panel functioning, etc.

no the hd4600 is on the 4790k its a desktop igpu and its not working it's an issue with the framebuffer which i am hunting down now the mobile variant is {censored} not something i care about

I thought it was the desktop IGPU but as mine is way older (Also a desktop IGPU) thought it was odd it had stopped working, sounds like its an issue with that specific hardware as you mentioned, hope you get it sorted!

  3. Will do thanks, having trouble with the AIO Cooler on this setup at the moment (One warm pipe one cold), I suspect the pump has done its time (7 years!).

Once I get it replaced will report back.

  4. 5104 wouldn't open here either but 5103 from the first page of this thread does.

I had to use the "xattr -rc" command to get 5104 to run.

Most applications create files in other places on the os, preferences, caches etc , not just in the Applications folder, where the main app resides. I meant that, sometimes, to replace an app, those need to be deleted first, not just the main app. I was thinking that, due to the fact that there was a broken version, there may be broken preferences files somewhere else on the else, for example.

Just try it, if it works winner!

  6. Thanks for everyones input with the Audio issue I had with r5102!

Turns out it was driver error as I let Clover.app update my files and of course my edit that I need to apply (Uncomment "ReplaceName(dsdt + BrdADR, BridgeSize, device_name[9], "ARPT");") wasn't included in that!

    Happy New Year everyone!

  7. I don't use HDMI audio just the onboard audio and AppleALC.kext

From looking at the boot log, it seems something changed. Perhaps the "Log audio devices" change?

  8. Yes, its a UEFI install.

Am I right in saying that it will only notify about new versions when the number changes (5101 > 5102) and if I want the incremental stuff I should build a new version of the .app and install from there?

Ok, I'll make it show an alert window when it done..:)

Your looks good, but looks like you're running in UEFI? isn't?

Hi @vector sigma, I installed a new SSD so did a fresh install and here is how it looks now...

  10. This is my daemon log after a couple of reboots.

I don't have any files in either rc.boot.d or rc.shutdown.d but it still refers to them, should I perhaps clean my NVRAM?

  11. Installed today as this is looking really good.

Does it do away with "10.save_and_rotate_boot_log.local" and "20.mount_ESP.local" I use for Log creation and ESP mounting (They are in rc.boot.d)?

If so, can the app create and rotate the last 10 boot logs for me somewhere?

Also, how do I make best use of the "Sound" option please (I already have it working on boot using AudioDxe and BootChimeDxe)?

  12. For option 2 do I have to provide HFSPlus myself?

    buildme, Clover v2.5k r5100 (SHA: f3797c12)
    TOOLCHAIN: GCC53 (override example: './buildme XCODE8')

     1) build Clover
     2) build Clover with HFSPlus
     3) make pkg
     4) make app
     5) make iso
     6) build all
     7) test build (no autogen, no boot files)
     8) status
     9) update Clover
    10) update Clover (reset changes)
    11) show diff
    12) open drivers directory
    13) clean BaseTools
    14) quit
