1. AppleHDA for El Capitan discussion

Could anybody help to set up my ALC 898 on my Z77X-UD5H? I already have the codec ID (0x10EC0899) and the native HDA, do I need anything else?
2. OS X El Capitan Test Thread

Hey guys! No matter if I use the built-in disk-creator or DiskMaker X, I am always stuck at this point: After ~10 minutes it goes into screensaver, afterwards the mouse does not work anymore. (I removed my GTX 680, so I am using the internal GPU currently) Also, my boot args are: rootless=0 kext-dev-mode=1 and I use Ozmosis to boot the system. Any suggestions?
3. OS X El Capitan Test Thread

Sadly, this did not help sudo ~/Downloads/Install\ OS\ X\ 10.11\ Developer\ Beta.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/OS\ X\ Base\ System --applicationpath ~/Downloads/Install\ OS\ X\ 10.11\ Developer\ Beta.app
4. OS X El Capitan Test Thread

Would you mind telling me how you built the USB drive? Cause I did the "old" method (restoring Base*.dmg, copying the packages over) and I get still waiting for root device
5. Stuck at "Still waiting for root device"

Same problem here, MB: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H, BIOS version 15q, pre modified with kexts for LAN (and FakeSMC, for that matter) CPU: i7 3770k GFX: GTX 680 I can run Mavericks just fine...
6. @EvgeniX Do you have a config.plist available, that actually works? :/
7. Hello guys I am currently using a Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H and a 680 GTX as my GPU, CPU is an Intel i7 3770K. BIOS is setup to the recommended settings (enabling EHCI-Hand-Off, for e.g.), despite all that, I have a few problems using Clover (Revision 2033): - orange icons for internal drives (yes I installed the 3rd Party SATA kext and IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector using ##### 5.4.3) - Shutdown not working (System shuts down, stays shut down for ~2-3 seconds, then starts again) - iMessage requires me to contact the support (despite the fact that I generated serial number using Chameleon Wizard) Here are my config files: Clover config.plist And I am also using a DSDT ("old" one, forgot the source, was patched makes my Audio working fine) I was using OS X before, but this is my first time using Clover, so I lack a little experience :/ If you guys can help me, I'd be very happy
8. Dude, on the mounted InstallESD is no Contents/SharedSupport/InstallESD.dmg ._.
9. The image I am using is the ESD, when it is mounted, it's called Mac OS X Install ESD :/
10. Would you mind uploading the complete package you used? I copied all the files from the package from John Cash to my Desktop but it refuses to work ._.
11. Best videocard for Mountain Lion?

I am running Mountain Lion with an GTX 680 - working OOB
12. So, since 10.7.4 was recently released and the App Store installer has been updated, I did it using Uni.Beast and a 10.7.3 .dmg file. Sadly, it still does not work...
13. As I already said, I tried booting with Bridge Helper, but it did not work oO Okay, I will reset my BIOS again. Okay, I will try using 3.0, thanks so far And I will download the regular installer from the App Store, so I can create a proper Uni.Beast stick
14. Hello dudes! I recently bought a 3770K and a Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H. I create a USB Stick using Uni.Beast, but I wan't able to boot from it. That is actully my fault, cause I did not use 10.7.3. Afterwards, I created another version using the .dmg of 10.7.3 (yes, I legally bought 10.7.3, but my internet connection is pretty slow (1mbit), so I can't download the required .app file simple as that.) The tutorial I used is this But I did not use the files provided, instead I used the "Extra" folder from the most recent Uni.Beast and installed Chimera on the stick, since the Chameleon Buildbot is currently offline. Sadly, I still can't boot from the stick into the installer, I keep getting "still waiting on root device" - no matter where I plug in the USB Stick (front or back, USB 2.0 or 3.0), no matter which boot paramterers... And yes, I even installed Bridge Helper on the stick... Do you guys have any idea what could be the problem? Is it the connected SSD? Oh, and AHCI is activated Or any misconfiguration in the BIOS? (BIOS F5, even tried with "Optimized Defaults") Greets, Korni22 P.S.: Sorry for my bad english, I am from germany^^
