  1. I've managed to install Snow Leopard on my Thinkpad T61. The only main issue I have is the graphics. I have a GM965 but Snow Leopard is seeing it as a 950. Does anyone know how to get 1440x900 to work? All I can get is 1024x768 in the display settings.
  2. [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Asus EeePC 1000HE

How did you manage to patch it? I can't seem to be able to patch mine. Even after patching I would get a KP.
  3. [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Asus EeePC 1000HE

I did a little digging regarding the sleep issue where the backlight didn't come on. http://s10lenovo.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&am...94&start=10 There is a post by qubit (about the 3rd post) where he mentions that you have to add a few lines to the DSDT.aml. I tested and can confirm that it works. I've managed to put the 1000HE to sleep and wake up with no issues at all.
  4. [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Asus EeePC 1000HE

Did you try the new sleepenabler kext?
  5. [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Asus EeePC 1000HE

I have tried that fix, but it doesn't seem to help? EDIT: I found another version that I got to work on my end. I think that the installation from mozartsql may just be corrupt. Download the attachment below. Copy the files not the folders from the zip to \System\Library\Extenstions. Reboot your computer and the icons should be fixed. OrangeHDIconFix.zip
  6. [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Asus EeePC 1000HE

i don't know if anyone else experienced this. But is anyone else getting their drives showing up as external? I ran through your steps on another 1000HE, and the main hdd is coming up as external.
  7. How I got Silverlight 3 working

I found something regarding this earlier today. I found out that after you download silverlight. Extract the package onto your desktop. and check the contents inside. There would be a file in there that says installation check I believe. Delete that, and you should be able to install silverlight.
  8. [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Asus EeePC 1000HE

I have a solution for the Ethernet. 1000HE Files The kext you want to use is the AttansicL1eEthernet.kext. With this, I am able to use the ethernet at anytime. I can plug in anytime and it would work.
  9. Why do we need a USB drive?

The reason why we have to restore Snow Leopard to a USB Drive is because we would have to patch it.
  10. SL on Asus EeePC 1005HA?

Actually, I was referring to whether if anyone could get mirroring working on a widescreen monitor?
  11. SL on Asus EeePC 1005HA?

I think it is of the resolution that the Eee's are on. When I try any widescreen resolution on a standard monitor or an LCD TV, they would not display the resolution. If I use a standard resolution such as 1024x768, then they would display fine. Has anyone tried this using a widescreen monitor? P.S: I tested this when I used the Extended option instead of the mirror option.
  12. I have a 1000HE, I managed to install SL fine, but when I try to boot up, it would be at a black screen with the blinking underscore. It would move down one line, but then stay like that. Is there any way to fix this.?
